Probleme wifi sur jessie

Bonjour a tous

je tourne sur jessie alors que je ne connais pas grand chose, mais c etait la seul version qui reconnaissait la carte et qui me permettait de telecharger le reste de l instal. wheezy s arretait ou telechargement de l image

quand je fais iwconfig

eth0 no wireless extensions.

lo no wireless extensions.

et voila avec lspci

C’est tout pour le lspci? Peux-tu l’indiquer en entier? Car pour l’instant, ça ne concerne que l’ethernet, pas le wifi il me semble.

Sous quel environnement de bureau es-tu ? Gnome3 ? KDE ?

Ta connexion ethernet fonctionne ? Et pas ta connexion wifi, c’est ça ?

héhé, le update-pciids sert à mettre à jour les libellés qui identifient ton matériel. C’est normal que ça ne renvoie rien, c’est une opération silencieuse, mais qui fait son boulot.

D’ailleurs, tes libellés ont changé:

On a plus de précisions sur ton chipset Wifi: RTL8723AE.

Une recherche renvoie vers: packages.debian.org/jessie/firmware-realtek
… où parmi la liste on trouve: rtl8723ae

En conclusion, tu dois installer le paquet [mono]firmware-realtek[/mono].

Ce paquet n’est présent que dans les dépots non-free de Debian.
Alors si tu ne le trouves pas dans aptitude, il faut que tu ajoutes “contrib non-free” à côté de “main” dans ton fichier [mono]/etc/apt/sources.list[/mono]. Puis de faire un [mono]aptitude update[/mono].

Je me permets de réagir sur ce message car la configuration est exactement la même quel a mienne (à la différence que je travaille sous XFCE). Je viens tout récemment d’installer Debian sur mon ordi portable. J’ai effectué toutes les configurations comme expliqué. J’ai installé le paquet firmware-realtek. Et le résultat de la commande iwconfig est le suivant:

De plus l’outil Wicd ne détecte aucun réseau sans fil. Manquerait-il des éléments pour faire marcher le wifi ? J’ai vu ici: http://www.debian-fr.org/installation-debian-t45973.html qu’il fallait installer les drivers dans le noyau; comment est réalisée cette procédure ?

Non content de faire la promotion du lourd Network-manager, tu voudrais lui faire installer Network-manager-gnome ?

Wicd se veut un moyen allégé d’éviter les dépendances aux ignominieuses lourdeurs (lightweight alternative to NetworkManager).
Si tu installes wicd, tu n’as pas besoin de network manager (remove network-manager ).
