bonjour comme j’ai reçu mon nouveau PC ,j’ai décide d’installer sur mon vieux pc WIN XP une debian je voulais installer une SID mais comme ça posait des problèmes pour l’installation de la carte graphique , j’ai installé une lenny fraichement téléchargé. et…PAF ça marche pas… bon voila ma procédure d’installation a l’install. debian de base sans environnement graphique puis source.list non free ```auto deb http://ftp.fr.debian.org/debian/ lenny main contrib non-free deb-src http://ftp.fr.debian.org/debian/ lenny main contrib non-free ``` ```auto # uname -r 2.6.26-2-686 ``` ```auto # apt-get update # apt-get upgrade # aptitude install xorg mesa-utils # aptitude install kde-core # apt-get install module-assistant # m-a prepare # m-a clean nvidia-kernel # m-a a-i -i nvidia-kernel-source # apt-get install nvidia-glx ``` je régénère un xorg.conf ```auto Xorg -configure mv /etc/X11/xorg.conf /etc/X11/xorg1.conf cp /root/xorg.conf.new /etc/X11/xorg.conf ``` écran noir “out of range” édition xorg.conf ```auto ection "Screen" Identifier "Screen0" Device "Card0" Monitor "Monitor0" DefaultDepth 24 SubSection "Display" Viewport 0 0 Depth 24 Modes "1024x768" EndSubSection EndSection ``` bon le driver installé et 173.14.09.5 et je retrouve avec en plus du noyau 2.6.26-2-686 un noyau 2.6.26-1-686 au démarrage de grub?? 😮❓ chose bizarre avec tty1 startx —\> ecran noir par erreur j’ai refait un startx avec tty2 (le tout en root) et la kde démarre pouvez-vous me dire si j’ai merdé quelque part … merci pc xp 2400+ 512 ram 6600gt ---

Les messages d’erreurs indiquent qu’il essaye d’activer la 3D mais qu’il n’y arrive pas, et que finalement il switch en 2D, comme si ta carte ne répondait pas ---

la immédiatement je peux pas je pc n’est pas chez moi (il est chez mon amie) mais j’ai essayé avec 2 xorg.conf le minimaliste et celui généré par Xorg -configure il faut a chaque fois l’éditer xorg.conf ` section "Screen" Identifier "Screen0" Device "Card0" Monitor "Monitor0" DefaultDepth 24 SubSection "Display" Viewport 0 0 Depth 24 Modes "1024x768" EndSubSection EndSection` ca marchait avant avec le driver nv dans mon autre install (j’ai reinstallé pour avoir quelque chose de propre parce que j’ai bien foutu la \*@$#!) mais ca ressemble au xorg.gonf cité plus haut ---

Pour moi, “Medal Of Honor” ne se lance pas avec la CG mais avec le chipset graphique (un Unichrome) Preuve que la carte est naze… Ce qui me préoccupe, c’est que cette panne est arrivée le même jour que la mise à jour de ma Debian. Alors est qu’une MàJ peut endommager un matériel??? ---

si tu es en Lenny, le plus simple c’est d’installer les modules nvidia précompilés. Installe donc le paquet nvidia-kernel-2.6-686 qui dépend de nvidia-kernel-2.6.26-2-686 normalement et ensuite nvidia-glx. Dans les cas où les modules pré-compilés existent, il n’y a aucune raison de ne pas les utiliser ou au moins de les essayer. C’est quand même plus simple… ---
