# Graver un dvd rw avec dd

Oui ça peut marcher, mais pas avec tous les types de DVD : seuls les DVD+R/RW supportent l’écriture directe. Et encore, tous les graveurs ne fonctionnent pas très bien en écriture directe avec toutes les tailles de bloc (je peux en témoigner), mais avec une taille d’au moins 32 Kio ça devrait bien se passer.

Les DVD-R/RW et CD-R/RW ne supportent que l’écriture par paquet via un périphérique virtuel du style `/dev/pktcdvd0` créé avec la commande `pktsetup` du paquet `udftools`.
