petite mise à jour du mien :smiley:

gDesklet bouffant définitivement trop de ressources systèmes, je l’ai bazardé pour quelque chose de plus simple et complet à mon goût: conky, le successeur de torsmo.

j’ai également enlevé la console incrustée dans le bureau (Eterm) étant loin d’être nécessaire avec mes 3-terminaux-en-1 via la console gnome.

et finallement, une petite réorganisation de mes launchers ainsi qu’un petit changement de wallpaper aussi …

Pas mal… on remarque un coin de ton terminal, ce qui prouve qu’il n’est pas vraiment transparent. La transparence, c’est le truc ultime pour avoir un bureau nec plus ultra.
'fin, je dis ça, mais le mien est pas mieux. Un fluxbox, ça fait plaisir :slightly_smiling:

Exactement, la transparence ça joue beaucoup :stuck_out_tongue: et j’aime bien tout les *box comme WM. C’est simple, rapide, légé…quoi demander de plus :smiley: .

wallpaper.deviantart.com/ il suffit de regarder dans la section qui peut t’interresser ya pas mal de themes…pour le reste je ne sais absolument pas comment ça marche… :wink:

Seulement, j’ai vérifié, gdesklets prend plus de 80 Mo, alors je pense que ça n’en vaut pas la peine, et vais surement passer à conky… enfin, si y a pas mieux.
Sinon, je suis toujours sur OpenBox 3, avec idesk pour le fond d’écran et les icônes, et rox-filer (qu’on ne voit pas ici).

je te rassure, malgré le look “console”, conky est très très bien:

  • leger
  • complet
  • rapide
  • super configurable

si ça te tente, tu peux essayer avec mon conkyrc (il y a également d’autres exemples sur le site officiel):

j’utilise en plus Devil’s Pie (voir “trucs et astuces”) pour l’incruster dans le desktop (même options que j’utilisais pour incruster Eterm dans le desktop).

ça faisait un petit moment que j’esperais trouver une alternative correcte à Akregator/KDE et grâce à toi j’ai découvert Liferea/GTK qui dépasse toutes mes attentes :smiley:
