Freeze complet à des moments arbitraires

Bonjour,

J’ai installé Debian Wheezy sur mon nouvel ordinateur, un Acer Aspire V3-571G, et celui est peu utilisable à cause de désagréables freezes complets survenant arbitrairement. Ceux-ci ne semblent pas dûs à une application spécifique, car ils surviennent avec des applications différentes, et le seul moyen de les reproduire et de les “attendre”. Le freeze lui même est le plus complet possible (problème matériel?), plus de souris, ni de TTY, pas même de alt + sys + k possible, et le son en boucle. Autant recommandé d’utiliser un SysrecueCD afin de faire tous ces tests proprement avec des outils en version éprouvés :wink:

Excusez mon inactivité.
Ces erreurs sont sur ma partition système, et ne surviennent qu’après un freeze. Le démarrage suivant semble les corriger d’après ce que l’on voit sur les sorties.
J’ai tenté ces commandes sur cette partition et elles n’ont rien trouvé de spécial.
Je me demande si cela ne pourrait pas venir d’optimus, intégré dans ma configuration. J’ai trouvé quelqu’un qui a le même problème, et il possède aussi optimus.
Je gère le problème d’optimus avec Bumblebee, mais des freezes parvenaient aussi avant son installation.
Vous avez des idées?

Pour info, j’ai exactement le même problème. Les mises à jour du démon bumblebee et des pilotes graphiques tendent à réduire la fréquence des freezes. (Sauf si c’est un effet placébo).

Quoiqu’il en soit, le freeze n’a jamais lieu en mode console. J’ai donc tendance à incriminer les pilotes graphiques. J’ai tenté de n’installer que les pilotes du chipset, sans les pilotes de la carte ni Bumblebee, mais les freezes ont tout de même lieu.

Bref, ma contribution n’est pas folle, mais c’est toujours ça ^^

Est ce que tu as juste un freeze du serveur X (qui parfois peut t’empêcher également de passer sous les TTY) ou c’est tout le PC qui plante?

Pour savoir moi je laisse tourner un petit serveur SSH et j’essaye de me connecter depuis un autre poste quand le freeze survient.

Il m’est arrivé plusieurs fois au boulot d’avoir un PC qui semblait totalement bloqué mais qui me laissait encore la main via SSH.
Ca te permet de voir si un service utilise toutes les ressources, de voir tes logs en direct etc.

C’était un espoir que j’avais… Mais la machine est bien tout entièrement plantée. Elle ne répond même plus au ping.

En cherchant un peu plus profondément sur internet, j’ai trouvé quelques posts affirmant que le problème n’existait plus pour des versions plus récentes du noyau. J’ai donc compilé et installé un noyau 3.6.9. Pour le moment le freeze n’intervient plus, mais je ne peux plus compiler mes drivers wifi broadcom (problème de headers?). Je ferme ce post (problème initial résolu) et je continue à chercher.

Pour info, tu n’étais pas obligé de compiler ton noyau. Une version “trunk” est dispo dans les dépôt experimental :
