Bonjour.
Mon laptop est équipé de deux cartes graphiques. La carte graphique “intégrée” Intel, et une carte “discrète” Ati. J’aimerais pouvoir utiliser cette dernière par nécessité d’avoir une bonne prise en charge 3D. Voilà ce que j’ai fait jusqu’alors :
-
BIOS : Choix de la carte discrète (ie l’Ati)
-
Installation de : linux-headers-xxx
-
Install de : fglrx-control fglrx-driver module-assistant
-
module-assistant prepare
-
module-assistant update
-
module-assistant a-i fglrx
Tout ça sans erreur à l’exécution -
aticonfig --initial
-
Vérification du choix “Ati” dans le xorg.conf
******@******:/etc/X11$ more xorg.conf
Section "Files"
FontPath "/usr/share/fonts/X11/100dpi/:unscaled"
FontPath "/usr/share/fonts/X11/75dpi/:unscaled"
EndSection
Section "InputDevice"

Driver "kbd"
Option "CoreKeyboard"
Option “XkbRules” "xorg"
Option “XkbModel” "pc105"
Option “XkbLayout” "fr"
Option “XkbVariant” "latin9"
Option “XkbOptions” "lv3:ralt_switch"
EndSection
Section "Device"
Identifier "Configured Video Device"
Driver “ati”
BusID “PCI:0:2:0”
EndSection
Section "Screen"

SubSection "Display"
Modes "1650x1080"
EndSubSection
EndSection
Section "ServerLayout"
Identifier "Default Layout"
Screen "Default Screen"
InputDevice "Generic Keyboard"
EndSection
Et voilà le drame…
******@******:~$ fglrxinfo
X Error of failed request: BadRequest (invalid request code or no such operation)
Major opcode of failed request: 135 (GLX)
Minor opcode of failed request: 19 (X_GLXQueryServerString)
Serial number of failed request: 16

J’ai testé une appli 3D (Celestia) qui bien évidement, ne fonctionne pas.
Des idées ?
Merci d’avance
