Affichage plain ecran

Bonjour,
je vien d’installer debian sur un portable et quand jai demarer jai pas l’affichage sur toute l’ecran et je sais pas je peu changer la resolution.

En mode texte ou graphique.
sarge, etch,sid, …?

En supposant qu’il s’agit du mode graphique, taper en console :

su mot-de-passe-root dpkg-reconfigue xserver-xfree86permet de mofifier la résolution d’affichage. Regarder quelle est la résolution d’affichage du portable.
Voir un tuto dans trucs et astuces pour des résolutions moins traditionnelles.
Certains pilotes généraux (je pense à vesa) ne permettent pas une grande résolution.

ou sous xorg :

il peut aussi s’agir du couple {résolution/fréquence} qui n’a jamais été bien calibré sur l’écran… un réglage de l’écran peut peut être corriger celà…

Jai reconfigure xfree et jai mis la resoulution 1024 mais quand je redemare ca donne toujour 800x600 et jai essayé de la changer sur les preferences de resolution de l’ecran mais le max et 800x600.
pour xorg je l’ai pas trouvé je vien de telecharger la version 7.1.0 mais je sais pas comment l’installer et pour calibré l’ecran je sais pas non plus.

Les paquets Xorg ne sont, pour les dépôts officiels pous etch et sid. Cela peut se trouver pour sarges, mais uniquement dans les backports ici : backports.org/debian/pool/main/x/xorg-x11/
Pour être sûr d’avoir la bomme configuration de l’écran dans le fichier de configuration de xfree, il faut regarder dans /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 : il doit apparaître quelque chose comme :Section "Screen" Identifier "Default Screen" Device "NVIDIA Corporation NVIDIA Default Card" Monitor "�ran g��ique" DefaultDepth 24 SubSection "Display" Depth 1 Modes "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480" EndSubSection SubSection "Display" Depth 4 Modes "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480" EndSubSection SubSection "Display" Depth 8 Modes "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480" EndSubSection SubSection "Display" Depth 15 Modes "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480" EndSubSection SubSection "Display" Depth 16 Modes "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480" EndSubSection SubSection "Display" Depth 24 Modes "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480" EndSubSection EndSectionpour une résolution de 1024x768
Si la bonne résolution n’apparaît pas :

  • on peut recommencer un # dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86 et vérifier que le message à la fin dit bien que la mise à jour a été faite ;
  • si la mise à jour du fichier de conf ne se fait pas, on peut la forcer : # dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xfree86
  • on peut aussi l’éditer à la main pour mettre à la main la résolution désirée

Quel est le pilote vidéo utilisé ?
Certains pilotes ont une résolution vidéo limitée …

Comme je ne suis pas en sarge, je n’ai pas la liste de tous les pilotes pour xfree.

EDIT : La résolution peut aussi être modifiée pour accepter les 3 résolutions possible avec Kinfocenter (je crois) sous kde ou avec gnome en cliquant successivement sur : Applications -> Debian -> Applications -> outils système -> gnome -> gnome control center -> résolution de l’écran.

Sinon, petite remarque que gingko a oublié de faire: le log de l’appli qui te pose problême est TOUJOURS le meilleur moyen d’avoir une réponse pertinente, et c’est pénible de devoir le rappeler ( as tu lu forum.debian-fr.org/viewtopic.php?t=4657 ? ).
Les logs sont dans /var/log, et celui d’XFree y est aussi dans un sous repertoire (mais je ne sais plus lequel, je suis en Xorg).
Si tu veux aider les gens qui essayes de t’aider, fournis donc ce fichier de log.
Je suis certain qu’on va y trouver le message qui dit que la fréquence pour le 1024x768 n’ est pas supportée par le moniteur, et aprés confirmation de ça, je te dirais comment résoudre le problème.

bon, la solution à priori la plus simple, ca doit être de faire d’abord un dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg (ce qui ne doit avoir aucun effet apparent sauf un petit message d’erreur eventuel) puis un dpkg-reconfigure -plow xserver-xorg
Dans cette deuxiême étape, tu fais “entrée” tout le temps jusqu’au moment ou on te demande si tu veux une configuration de l’ecran “Simple” “Medium” ou “Advanced”.
La tu choisis une configuration “Medium” et dans la liste, tu choisis 1024x768@60Hz, tu continue en faisant entrée jusqu’au bout, puis tu fais ctrl+alt+backspace pour redémarrer Xwindows.

quand j’execute c 2 command il me sort le message suivant:

Tu as un écran LCD, mais tu l’as déclaré comme un écran générique, augmente tes fréquences: mets

HorizSync 28.0 - 96.0 VertRefresh 50.0 - 75.0

par exemple voire un peu plus.

Une remarque quand même, la solution que je t’ai donné à un gros inconvénient par rapport à la démarche que suggérait MattOTop: Si tu as modifié le fichier de configuration du serveur X à la main, dorénavant Debian ne touchera plus à ce fichier (ça n’est pas grave sur un portable parce qu’à priori rien ne change beaucoup mais ça peut être gênant si tu fais un dist-upgrade un jour.

J’avais juste oublié que tu es sous Xfree. tu remplaces xorg par xfree86 dans les commandes.
Sinon, fran fait la même chose que ce que j’essaie de te faire faire, mais à la main, donc ça doit être à peu prés équivalent (sauf que de ce que j’ai vu, ton ecran ne semble accepter que 60Hz max en vrefresh.

Je voudrai bien passé en x-org si vous me le recomendé biensur sachant que les commande dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg/dpkg-reconfigure -plow xserver-xorg, ne me donne rien, peut etre que c pas installer sur ma machine si ces le cas comment je peut faire comme ca dorénavand je serai comment installer un package manquant.

Le passage en xorg n’est pas si simple.
Mais j’ai été idiot: avec Xfree, comme le dit fran, le simple reconfigure ne suffit pas à modifier la config.
Voici ce qu’il faut faire (en root bien sûr):cp /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 /etc/X11/XF86Config-4.custom md5sum /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 >/var/lib/xfree86/XF86Config-4.md5sum dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86C’est expliqué dans XF86config-4, d’ailleurs…
