Ajouter un modeline pour xorg

Bonjour,
mon écran n’est pas tout-à-fait correctement reconnu et sa résolution est limitée à 1024x768 au lieu de 1280x1024. J’arrive à corriger le problème en faisant ceci :

xrandr --newmode 1280x1024_75 135.00 1280 1296 1440 1688 1024 1025 1028 1066 +HSync +VSync
xrandr --addmode 1280x1024_75

Mais c’est une manipulation manuelle à faire à chaque login d’un utilisateur.

J’aurais aimé configurer xorg pour tous les utilisateurs automatiquement, mais les docs que je trouve sur internet sont soit très vieilles soit très confuses.
Quelqu’un peut-il m’aider ? Jusqu’à maintenant j’ai échoué.

En fait il n’est pas du tout reconnu correctement. 1024x768 est la résolution par défaut maxi quand les vraies résolutions de l’écran ne sont pas détectées correctement. Un cause possible est que la carte graphique n’est pas gérée correctement. Une autre conséquence possible est que l’accélération matérielle n’est pas disponible, et donc que les performances sont très mauvaises. Si c’est le cas il vaudrait mieux corriger cela plutôt que contourner avec une résolution manuelle.

La solution xorg.conf me semblait un peu compliquée. j’ai préféré ajouter mes deux lignes de commandes xrandr dans un fichier 45xrandr éxécutable placé dans /etc/X11/Xsession.d/
Ça semble marcher.

J’ai effectivement des problèmes avec l’aéccélération matérielle. C’est récurrent sur les vieux macs avec processeur powerpc. En fait j’ai la 3D accelérée, mais uniquement en mode pci et non AGP4. J’ai déjà posté sur la liste debianppc, mais si quelqu’un a des idées, ça peut m’intéresser.
j’ai rajouté l’option de démarrage "radeon.agpmode=4 " à grub, mais je suis toujours en mode pci.
