An established connection was aborted

Hi! This is the only support forum I have found for geneweb. Assuming this is correct, I would like to post a request for help: I have a new PC, and I have just tried running geneweb for the first time on it - both with my old version (4.09), and with version 6.07, and in all cases I get the message: ‘“read” failed: An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine.’ I have tried running it with my Antivirus (BitDefender) switched off, with Windows firewall switched off, and in Safe Mode, and I always get the same message! I am running Win7 on a 64-bit PC. Help would be much appreciated! TIA

Paul, I have the same problem, but with Windows 10. Did you find a solution? If so, what?
