Blocage a cause du noyeau 3.2.0-4-686-pae

Bonjour a tous,

Je suis sous wheezy, et depuis une dernière mise a jour (il y a bien deux semaines, mais je n’ai pas eu le temps de me renseigner sur mon soucis) j’ai un soucis de démarrage, dès GRUB : Si je laisse le pc faire, il démarre sur le noyeau 3.2.0-4-686-pae , j’ai un peu d’affichage texte, et à priori au chargement de GDM … mes écrans s’éteignent, plus de réaction (!)

Par contre mon pc fonctionne très bien en 3.2.0-3-686-pae …

le syslog est super long … j’hésite à le poster ici.

Auriez vous une idée de la raison de ce plantage (c’est juste embétant de devoir rester devant le pc, attendre le post, et penser a appuyer sur une touche fléché pour ne pas avoir a forcer un redémarrage…)

Pilote graphique Nvidia propriétaire, je présume ? A recompiler/réinstaller pour chaque nouvelle version de noyau.

Pour ça tu as la balise Code , ou bien les pastebin : paste.debian.net/

De toute façon le syslog ne contiendra pas grand-chose d’intéressant, ou alors juste vers la fin. Par contre jeter un coup d’oeil au log de X.org.

je n’utilise pas de pilote propriétaire : je ne sais pas comment faire, et j’ai laissé debian se débrouiller tout seul pour l’installation. j’en suis au 3e ou 4e noyeau mis à jour, jusque là tout se passait bien.

Ben là tout va bien, mais si on regarde il s’agit du BOOT_IMAGE=/boot/vmlinuz-3.2.0-3-686-pae donc pas du noyau posant pbm. Il faudrait récupérer le xorg.0.log avec le noyau 3.2.0-4. Effectivement c’est une carte nvidia.

quand la machine boot elle même sur le noyau 3.2.0-4-686-pae peux tu accéder au mode console avec Ctrl+Alt+F1?Si oui installe le pilote proprio en suivant le lien indiqué par thuban,la méthode pour les fainéants basée sur smxi.
Après installation du nouveau noyau as tu fait la commande “#update-grub” ? qui te donnera le choix du noyau au moment du boot

Vérifie avec la date et l’heure du fichier.

On peut spécifier le numéro d’ordre (à partir de 0) de l’entrée de menu par défaut dans /etc/default/grub puis exécuter update-grub pour l’appliquer.

J’ai suivi la méthode d’installation (j’avais un pilote libre, je suis maintenant avec le pilote proprio). Il y a une différence maintenant : j’arrive au prompt avec le noyau 3.2.0-4-686-pae et en GRANDS caractères (genre en 640x480) aulieu d’un “_” clignotant …

Du coup, nouvelle question : Comment peut-on changer la taille du caractère dans TTY1 ?
