Caractères spéciaux illisibles

Bonjour

Voilà, il y a encore quelques jours j’étais en triboot windows/ubuntu/debian-sid-sous-gnome-complet. Sur un coup de tête j’ai effacé toutes les partitions (après avoir sauvegardé mes données quand même :mrgreen: ). J’ai réinstallé debian sid, mais j’ai voulu faire une installation plus minimale en n’installant que gnome-core et les paquets de mon choix.

Je vous rassure, tout s’est très bien passé :wink: , je savais quels paquets installer. Il subsiste cependant un problème : certains caractères spéciaux sont illisibles, c’est le cas de tous ceux présentés sur cette page .

J’ai pourtant :
:arrow_right: Installé de nombreuses polices ttf true type, unifonts et autres xfonts. À noter que j’ai réalisé ces ajouts d’après mon expérience avec ma debian-gnome-complet : au début, je me trouvais dans une situation similaire (peu de caractères affichés), mais au fil de mes installations de ttf-*-fonts et autres, je suis arrivé à une reconnaissance presque complète des caractères spéciaux.
:arrow_right: Configuré firefox pour que l’encodage des caractères se fasse en unicode (UTF-8).

Que dois-je donc faire de plus ? Y a-t-il un paquet / une configuration spécifique que l’on n’a pas par défaut après une installation minimale de gnome ?

Vérifie les dernières lignes de ton fichier /var/log/Xorg.0.log pour t’assurer que toutes les polices de caractères ont bien été chargées.

Tu pourrais avoir des lignes t’informant, en anglais, que certaines polices n’ont pas pu être chargées.

Ce n’est qu’une piste.

la seconde ligne permet de définir LC_ALL comme ton locale repond qu’elle n’est pas défini

Comme le problème concerne l’affichage des pages web, si la configuration de Iceweasel (Firefox) ne change rien (Affichage, Encodage des caractères, Détection automatique, Universel), je tenterais alors d’installer le paquet msttcorefonts (polices Microsoft) pour voir si cela règle le problème.

Pourquoi cela réglerait-il le problème ? De plus, je n’ai pas installé ce paquet dans mon installation précédente…

A mon sens, toutes tes polices ne sont pas chargées compte tenu des Warnings suivants:

code The directory “/usr/share/fonts/X11/100dpi/” does not exist.

Ton xorg.conf indique des polices dans le repertoire /usr/share/fonts/X11/100dp/ qui n’exsite pas.

Ce sont peut-être ces polices manquantes génèrent les anomalies d’affichage.
Si les polices 100dp existent, vérifie alors le chemin et modifie en conséquent ton xorg.conf.

Pour le reste, à mon niveau, je n’ai rien remarqué de suspect dans ton Xorg.0.log. Tout parait être chargé correctement. Il n’y a pas de “EE” à l’exception des warnings sur certaines polices.

En effet, les polices ci-dessous ont bien été chargées:

J’ai installé ces paquets : xfonts-100dpi xfonts-100dpi-transcoded xfonts-75-dpi xfonts-75dpi-transcoded xfonts-a12k12 xfonts-cronyx-75dpi xfonts-cronyx-misc xfonts-mathml xfonts-tipa. Je ne remarque aucune ligne de plus dans mon /var/log/Xorg.0.log, de plus je ne constate aucune amélioration dans l’affichage de caractères spéciaux…

À tout hasard :

/etc/X11/fonts# ls 100dpi 75dpi cyrillic misc Type1 X11R7

/etc/X11/fonts/100dpi# ls xfonts-100dpi.alias

Mon problème est résolu : seuls les caractères spéciaux de cette page ne s’affichaient pas. Je suis en effet tombé par hasard sur cette autre page, tous les caractères sont affichés !

Je ne sais pas ce qui fait cette page n’affiche pas les caractères correctement.

J’ai exactement les mêmes problèmes que toi.

Un lien de Wiki est bon mais pas l’autre. C’est donc la faute de Wiki mais pas de nous (heureusement).
