Carte PCI Maxtor S-ATA/150 non reconnue

Je ne sais pas.
Je l’ai lu comme conseil dans les logs, et mis en pratique efficacement une ou deux fois sur des machines avec des problême d’irq chainés mal gèrés (en général des machine à architecture multimedia riche, comme mon portable).
Sinon, le pci=assign-busses, je l’ai découvert comme “conseil de log” en testant diverses configs de noyau pour mon sata (je ne savais pas que les mêmes disques pouvaient être vus comme “hdX” ou “sdX” suivant le pilote que j’utilise dans le noyau).
Enfin j’ai le wifi (ipw3945) et la camera embarquée (gspca/sid) qui marchent (enfin la caméra est en vert, mais bon) et une réactivité normale de ma machine sous debian, reste à obtenir la même chose sous gentoo.

Si tu sais ou trouver ce genre d’infos (le bp howto n’etant pas toujours trés à jour).

Excusez du retard de réponse mais, je rentre juste du boulot.

Puisque vos derniers posts parlent du bus PCI, je sais que dans mon bios j’ai une option qui est activée et qui a pour but de faire passer les transfert IDE par le bus PCI.
Je n’ai pas esssayé de désactiver cette option.

Fran.B, pour les manips que tu suggères (récupérer le module sata_promise du noyo 2.6.19) ça me fait l’effet d’un Airbus qui s’écrase et on demande à un passager d’aller dans le cockpit pour faire l’atterrissage en catastrophe … je ne le sent pas trop … :-/
Je comprend à peu près tes phrases mais je n’ai aucune idées des commandes correspondantes à ce que tu veux faire, ni le moyens de m’en sortir si ça tourne mal alors …

Hum, j’ai chargé le code et essayé de faire la manoeuvre, sata_promise ne compile pas. Du coup j’ai regardé si il y avait une différence importante:

Des changements cosmétiques sans intérêts, un autre changement cosmétique aussi où apparemment le traitement des codes PCI_VENDOR et PCI_DEVICE est unifié. C’est tout! Un argument a été rajouté dans la fonction irqreturn_t pdc_interrupt mais il n’est pas utilisé. Par ailleurs, les drivers ne sont plus un avatar SCSI mais dans une branche ATA.

Bref: A mon avis, rien de neuf dans le noyau jusqu’à présent sur sata_promise. Reste donc les manips suggérés par Matt ou bien aller chercher dans le 2.6.20 et adapter.

Bein je ne pense pas que mes IRQ soient mal gérées quand je suis en “IDE : compatible mode” (config bios actuelle)

Pour ce qui est d’adapter le noyau du 2.6.20 … je ferai ça quand mon skill aura levellé. Pour l’instant je suis en carrence d’XP

Il y a eu des cartes évoquées ici, notamment des ASUS qui fonctionnaient bien… Personnellement, j’ai acheté moins de 10€ une carte d’occasion :slightly_smiling: au gars du coin pour remplacer celle qui était morte…

Essaye quand même les manips de Matt, l’initalisation des cartes PCI est quelque chose de compliqué et l’utilisation des paramètres de boot pas assez employée.

En gros,

  1. Matt a raison et il faut taper dans les options du boute
  2. C’est le bazar dans les options du boute
  3. Essaye en mettant l’option nodmraid dans les options de boute (append dans grub ou lilo).

tu peux enlever les options “pci=” elles ne font rien.
Mais tu as bien alimenté ton disque, au fait ?

@Mattotop = Ok, j’enlève les options. Quant au disque, oui il est alimenté et fonctionne nickel sous windows (driver pour la carte fourni pour Windows)

C’est simple, boute en donnant au noyau l’option «nodmraid» comme tu as fait pour l’option pci=… et tu essayes.

Alors, … y a du nouveau.

Aujourd’hui j’ai fais la mise à jour de la Debian.
(261 Mo de mises à jour, dont le kernel qui boot sur 2.6.18-4-686)

Au demarrage de ma session kde, je vois sur le bureau les icones des volumes de mon disque piloté par la carte SATA150

Par contre si je clic sur ces volumes pour les explorer, j’obtiens le message d’erreur suivant :

T’es avec quel usagé pour voir ça? ouvre toi une fenetre de terminal

J’aimerais voir le output de la commande: mount, et vérifie lequel est ton disque?

Quel est l’usagé uid 1000? alors fais: grep 1000 /etc/passwd | awk -F: ‘{print $1}’, d’après moi c’est ton usagé normal.

Met toi en root dans le terminal: sudo su - (puis tappe ton mot de passe)

Ensuite essaie de voir si tu peux faire un “ls” par exemple sur ton disque que tu as vu avec mount? ça fonctionne? Si oui, alors il va falloir que tu mount ce disque avec les bonnes permissions pour que ton usager normal puisse y entrée. tu me suis?

Merci pour ta réponse.
Le probleme c’est que depuis le temps, j’ai enlevé mes disques de la carte PCI SATA150 pour les mettre sur la nappe IDE de ma carte mère.

Sur la carte PCI SATA150 il ne reste qu’un lecteur de CD qui, je pense, n’est pas detecté.

Les problemes d’accès sur les disques sités plus hauts sont donc des problemes de config /etc/fstab à tous les coups, ocmme tu le penses.
