Carte reseau reconnu mais non activé

salut les amis
j’ai installer debian5 et dans l’onglet réseau j’ai vu qu’il a reconnu mes 2 carte carte réseau eth0 et wlan0 alors j’ai configuré wlan0 ( ip et le masque) mais j’ai remarqué qu’il y a pas un champ ou mettre le nom réseau (SSID) après avoir terminer avec ça j’ai fai la commande ifconfig mais j’ai pas trouvé le wlan0 !!!
et j’ai fait /etc/init.d/networking restart
il m’a afficher faild to bring wlan0 ou quelque chose comme ça
alors c’est quoi le problème ? juste avant d’installer debian5 j’ai essayer ubuntu10 et tous a bien marché !!

ifconfig ne montre que les interfaces montées.

envoie le contenu de /etc/network/interfaces

et installe le paquet wireless-tools, la commande iwconfig wlan0 te donnera de sinfos pour savoir si ton interface est vien “associée” a un AP.

ifconfig -a les montre toutes.

Ton interface apparait bien dans iwlist, elle est simplement désactivée(« Network is down »). Tu peux l’activer en faisant :

Surtout pas, ce serait

tel que overload, tu lui flingues son fichier avec un contenu vide.

Sinon, ça ne marche que dans un réseau ouvert, sinon il faut configurer le WEP ou WPA.
