coincé sur un noyau

bonjour à tous

Voilà impossible d’utiliser un linux-image autre que
uname -r : 2.6.25-2-686

revenir au noyau etch ou lenny, voici un des messages d’erreur au chargement du noyau :
hdd : drive not ready for command

et ça coince au chargement.

Je n’ai pas trouvé de piste qui puisse m’éclairer. Avez-vous une idée ?

dans /dev je n’ai pas de hdd
uniquement des sda et sdc

pourquoi ?

depuis le 2.6.22 au moins (voir peut etre avant) tous les peripheriques ide et sata sont nommés par le noyau sd*

hdd est un CDROM? Il faut peut être dans ce cas regarder les modules chargés. Que dit dmesg?

je viens de m’apercevoir que mon système plante complètement quand j’insère un dvd.
C’est un lecteur que j’utilise rarement et je ne sais pas depuis quand il plante. Mais c’est sur il a déjà marché très bien.

Tu as un lecteur CD SATA reconnu comme /dev/scd0 ou /dev/sr0 au lieu de /dev/hdd. Voilà.

y a t’il un moyen pour mettre de l’ordre ?

Change /dev/hdd en /dev/scd0 dans ton /etc/fstab, ça devrait suffire.

je n’ai aucune déclaration de mes 2 lecteurs dans fstab

mon lecteur qui marche est monté avec pmount, l’autre plante

avec le noyau lenny, c’est au début du chargement que cela plante
je ne sais pas s’il s’intéresse à fstab à ce niveau là ?

puis fait un mount -a : aucun message
puis mount : pas de hdd monté

Non justement /dev/hdd n’existe plus. Tu dois théoriquement avoir
/dev/cdrom qui pointe vers /dev/scd0 ou /dev/sr0.

Eventuellement supprime ou plutôt déplace /etc/udev/rules.d/z25_persistent-cd.rules
Ça doit être ça tes problèmes.

après un reboot il a recréé ce même fichier mais le contenu n’est pas le même

Bon, d’après ce que je vois, il y a une première initialisation du SATA qui échoue puis une deuxième qui fonctionne, ton CDROM est
/dev/scd1 ou /dev/sr1 (en tout rigueur le premier est pour la lecture et le second pour la gravure)
Dans ton /etc/fstab remplace bêtement /dev/hdd par /dev/cdrom.

Qu’y a-t-il dans /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-cd.rules

voici la ligne ajoutée
/dev/cdrom /media/cdrom1 udf,iso9660 user,noauto 0 0

pas de changement

j’ai pensé que mon dvd est peut-être HS
je l’ai donc débranché : idem
si je débranche mes 2 lecteurs le démarrage avec noyau 2.6.18 reste coincé

bon après quelques déboires, je n’ai toujours pas résolu mon problème

j’ai installé sur une partition libre un nouveau système lenny noyau 2 6 24 1 686

grosse erreur de ma part, j’ai un /boot commun j’ai effacé les autres linux-image dont celui qui marchait plus ou moins bien

impeccable tout marche à merveille

mais voilà, je fais un upgrade et charge le noyau proposé 2 6 26

impeccable, tout foire
le noyau 2 6 26 reste bloqué au chargement
rien ne va plus avec le noyau 2 6 24 1 686 : mon lecteur de DVD n’est plus opérationnel, pas de montage automatique, k3b plante, le système plante dès que j’insére un DVD

après avoir obtenu quelques renseignements dans dmesg, j’ai configuré mon fstab comme ceci

Efface le fichier /etc/udev/rules.d/z25_persistent-cd.rules (déplaces le)
