bonjour,
je configure xserver-xfree86
et à une étape de l’installation le server me demande :
identifiant du bus de la carte vidéo
comment faire pour trouver ce bus?

je fais alors lspci je trouve :0000:00:02.0 vga
et je tape sur la ligne de configuration pci:00:02.0 ou pci:00:02:0
j’ai un message me disant : veuillez indiquer l’identifiant du bus dans un format correcte
mercci de m’aider

ou même rien, si tu n’as qu’une carte.

Moi aussi, je laisse vide mais quand je le plaçait, c’était en majuscules pour PCI
et ensuite les deux premiers groupes étaient à deux chiffres comme suit :
PCI:01:00:0

Pas nécessaire si tu n’as qu’une carte.

bonjour,
j’ai réussi à installer xserver-xfree86, cependant a la fin de l’installation quand je lance startx, j’ai le message suivant:
fatal server error:
no screens found
whenreporting a problem related to a server crash, please send the full server output, not just the last messages.
this can report problems to submit@bugs.debian.org

XI0: fatal I0 error 104 (connection reset by peer) on X server ":0.0"
after 0 rquests (0 known processed) with 0events remaining.

j’avoue que je ne comprends rien

Dans cd cas là, je reboote … mais mon PC sert uniquement pour un usage personnel. Un serveur de production peut nécessiter des précautions.

et j’ai installé kdm, kde
