Connection internet filaire inactive avec MAC clonée depuis mise à jour debian 12 et 13

Bonjour.

Je viens de faire une migration d’un ordinateur qui tournait sur debian 11, lequel était connecté à internet par câble ethernet par une adresse mac clonée.
J’ai fais la mise à jour de mon système vers debian 12 et cette connexion ne fonctionne plus. J’ai refais une mise à jour vers debian 13, pourvoir si cette connexion revenait (via un partage de connexion de mon portable), et connexion ethernet toujours absente (il est indiqué « réseau ethernet déconnecté »)

Avez vous des pistes pour identifier le problème, et le cas échéant le régler?

Bonjour supprime le clonage de la MAC à tout hasard.

D’ailleurs pourquoi cloner l’adresse MAC?

Bah non, ca ne marche pas comme solution. La connexion n’est possible que par reconnaissance d’adresse mac. Changement d’ordinateur, donc nouvelle adresse MAC, mais changement de politique dans l’acceptation des connexions des ordinateurs personnels, donc pas possible d’avoir une connexion ethernet avec l’adresse MAC native de ce nouvel ordinateur. D’ou le clonage de la MAC, qui m’est indispensable :smiley:

Ce qui veut dire qu’il est donc facile d’usurper une machine dans le réseau dans lequel tu te trouve.
C’est moche. C’est un des premier truc que va utiliser un pirate.

Si ta connexion a des problèmes, alors tu dois avoir des logs, que ce soit avec journalctl, syslog si c’est actif, ou même dmesg.

Écoutes, honnêtement, je ne doute pas que ce soit moche, mais pour le coup ca m’est indispensable pour mon travail (et le partage de la connection de mon portable me semble moralement tout aussi discutable, mais pour le coup, je vais rester pragmatique, et juste tacher de réussir à connecter cet ordinateur pour pouvoir simplement travailler :smiley:

Tu veux que je te donne les résultats de ces commandes? honnètement, journalctl et dmesg donne des réponses de plusieurs centaines de lignes, je ne vois pas trop quoi en faire

tu n’as pas une commande un peu plus spécifique? là, on parle de plusieurs milliers de lignes de sorties… Si tu me dis ce que tu veux que je cherche spécifiquement dedans, je peux copier les lignes correspondantes, mais comme ça, je crains ne pas voir l’intérêt (d’autant que pour le coup, il y a dedans plein d’infos assez précises sur plein d’autre sujets que ce problème spécifique de connexion internet, que je ne suis pas certain de nécessairement vouloir mettre sur un forum publique…)

Il faut le faire juste après le démarrage (en clair tu reboot, tu te connecte et tu récupères les logs. Tu ne fait rien d’autr.
Il nous faut tout ce qui concerne NetworkManager, et d’une façon générale tout ce qui concerne des erreur ou des échecs.

sudo journalctl -b | egrep  '[Ee]rr|[Ff]ail|Eeé]chec|NetworkManager'

et

sudo dmesg | egrep  '[Ee]rr|[Ff]ail|Eeé]chec|NetworkManager'

Ca va être un roman fleuve, en résumé, j’ai fais 3 choses : 1/ un simple sudo journalctl -b à la suite duquel j’ai juste copié toutes les lignes avec soit du jaune ou du rouge, puis 2/
sudo journalctl -b | egrep '[Ee]rr|[Ff]ail|Eeé]chec|NetworkManager'
, et enfin 3/sudo dmesg | egrep '[Ee]rr|[Ff]ail|Eeé]chec|NetworkManager'

Je copie colle les 3 blocs de sortie (ça fait quelques lignes tout de même)

Tu ne devrait pas avoir ça. C’est probablement quelque chose d’hérité de Debian 11.
C’est probablement pour ça que tu n’a pas de réseau qui se monte.
Eth0 n’est plus utilisé de cette façon aujourd’hui.

Quels étaient les configurations qui avaient été mise en place pour le clonage de l’adresse MAC?

Je pense qu’il y a quelque chose de « bidouillé » dans ta configuration réseau.

peux-tu nous donner le contenu de /etc/network/interfaces s’il te plait?

Alors, comment j’avais fait, ben… par clic bouton (environnement xfce) par clic droit sur l’icone de réseau sur la barre des taches → modifier les connexions → Ethernet → adresse mac clonée

un truc simple, suffisament simple pour que je comprenne ce que je fais (à mon très petit niveau)

Le contenu de /etc/network/interfaces est :
source-directory /etc/network/interfaces.d

à noter que j’ai 2 prises réseau sur la machine (eth0 et eth1), et dans les connexion ethernet disponibles via interface graphique, j’ai eth0, eth1 et eno1 (je n’ai aucune idée de la pertinence de la précision que je donne, possiblement hors sujet)

Ca fait longtemps que je me désinteresse totalement de tout mais j’ai une question: pourquoi ne declarez vous pas la mac directement dans la box? J’ai conscience qu’en general c’est une strategie qui s’applique pour le wifi.

Parceque je ne peux pas. Je ne suis pas le gestionnaire de cette box. Je suis vraiment touché par l’intérêt que vous portez à mon problème, mais encore une fois, ma question n’est pas « comment me passer d’un clonage d’adresse MAC », ou « est-ce légitime d’utiliser un clonage MAC », mais bien « comment faire en sorte que ce clonage MAC fonctionne ».

OK, essaye un truc simple, puisque tu es sous Xfce :wink:

Clique droit sur l’icône réseau, et choisi « Modifier les connexions… »
Puis dans la section Ethernet, supprime la connexion relative à eth0, en la sélectionnant et en cliquant sur le bouton [ - ] en bas à G.
Une fois fait, cliques sur le bouton [ + ] pour ajouter une nouvelle connexion, choisi Ethernet puis « eno1 ».
Ensuite tu vas dans les paramètres de la connexion, en double cliquant dessus, et dans l’onglet Ethernet, dans le champ « Adresse MAC clonée », tu remplis la valeur ad hoc.
Tu valides et tu redémarres la machine :wink:
