Mouais ca chauffe mais bon quand meme… Je me rapelle de mes P4 qui tournaient à 48-50°c e idle et une pointe à 70-75 avec stress-test Prime95 à l’epoque, le tout avec ventilo d’origine. Donc 65°c en idle chez lui je trouve ça élevé quand meme…

@toto69 : t’as peut etre un processus qui te bouffe du CPU en arriere-plan, d’où le ralentissement et la chauffe CPU… Tu peux nous donner le retour de ‘ps aux’ ou ‘top’, genre une à deux minutes après avoir démarré le PC et sans aucun programme ouvert?

Je me demande si ce firmware ne permettrait pas une meilleure gestion de la carte graphique,
ce qui ferait moins de travail à faire par le microprocesseur.

Si le système d’exploitation est une version 32 bits :

Comme il s’agit d’un microprocesseur 64bits, il aura moins de travail à faire s’il utilise les instructions d’un
système 64 bits.

C’est un Pentium D, donc un double Pentium 4, qui chauffe deux fois plus.

Note : Je doute que ce PC ait effectivement 15 ans, car les premiers Pentium D sont sortis en 2005, il y a seulement 11 ans et ne sont pas compatible avec le socket 423 ou 478 des cartes mères de 2001, époque des premières générations de Pentium 4.

Le firmware manquant est inclus dans le paquet firmware-linux-nonfree qui se trouve dans la section non-free.

En tout cas les sorties de ps et top montrent une charge CPU faible.

Y’a un truc qui m’interpelle avec ton retour de ‘cat /proc/cpuinfo’ : ce processeur a deux coeurs mais dans le retour commande il n’y que le resultat pour un coeur…
Tu as omis volontairement ou par oublie le reste du retour commande ou bien c’est tout ce que te renvoie la commande?
