Demarrage impossible avec usb 2.0

Bonjour,

Mon souci est le suivant: Debian (Squeeze) ne démarre pas lorsque j’active l’usb 2.0 dans le bios. Grub se lance normalement, puis j’obtiens un:

Après quoi le pc m’explique que la partition où se trouve le système n’existe pas.

Fstab est pourtant correct, et de toute manière, l’erreur ne se produit pas lorsque je n’active pas l’usb 2.0.

Le système est monté sur un disque dur ide, en fin de disque:
/home/ sdb1
swap sdb2
/ sdb3
J’ai un second disque dur SATA, mais qui ne contient que des données personnelles.

En fouillant dans le forum, la solution serait peut être de modifier le temps de recherche du système au démarrage, en modifiant ou en ajoutant la ligne rootdelay=… dans grub. Mais j’utilise grub2, et tous les tutoriels valent pour les versions précédentes de grub, via menu.lst…

Si quelqu’un pouvait m’indiquer la marche à suivre, ou toute autre solution à mon problème, ça serait sympa (faire des sauvegardes sur un dd usb sans le 2.0 va me faire vieillir)…

J’ai remis l’uuid d’origine dans fstab, sans miracle (on ne sait jamais !). Et les problèmes similaires résolus concernent plutôt des mauvais uuid, ou grub1. Via ce lien,

j’ai cru qu’il y avait une solution, mais ce que grub m’affiche en mode édition n’y correspond pas tout à fait, et surtout je ne vois pas du tout ce que vient faire le msdos dans cette affaire (??) - j’étais en double boot avec xp pendant très peu de temps mais j’ai formaté la partition pour installer Debian, et installé grub plusieurs fois au cours de mes essais. Bref, voilà ce que ça donne (copié de grub.cfg):

Il ne faut pas mixer les deux systèmes car c’est au moment où tu valide l’usb que les périphériques changent de nom !

Ca devait être le fichier fstab d’origine que je n’avais jamais modifié, contrairement à ce que je croyais…
Je viens de faire un démarrage (avec l’uuid dans fstab), et ça marche.

Le problème ne semble pas venir de fstab. :12

Le PC ne démarre que si l’usb 2.0 est réglé dans le bios sur fullspeed, et non sur highspeed (12 M annoncés pour le fullspeed, 480 pour le highspeed - j’en doute).

J’ai réussi à redémarrer une seule fois en highspeed, après avoir démarré en fullspeed, et ça ne marche plus. J’ai testé sur une clé usb, et en fullspeed, j’arrive à un débit de 9-10 M, qui a tendance à baisser régulièrement.

C’est beaucoup moins gênant qu’au départ, mais j’aimerais avoir des infos ou une solution. Est ce un problème de matériel ou de compatibilité avec le matériel ?

Pour ceux que ça peut intéresser (là je suis largué), ma carte mère est une asus M2N68-AMPLUS, j’utilise le pilote propriétaire d’Nvidia. Voici ce que donnent les infos sur le matériel…
