Disque SATA

Bonjour,

J’ai téléchargé Debian Lenny pour i386 pour l’installer sur sur un Sony Vaio VGN-A517B (Linux localhost 2.6.26-1-686 #1 SMP Sat Jan 10 18:29:31 UTC 2009 i686 GNU/Linux).

J’arrive sans encombre jusqu’a l’interface graphique, Détection des disques.
Je choisis ext2 pour le formatage de sda6.

-Seulement, quand l’installateur installe le Systeme de Base, cela n’en finit plus. Je me suis aperçu que quelque chose se repete dans la console 4 (résultat de dmesg, à la fin). Cela parle du controleur de disque Ata. Le message se répète quasi-indéfiniment. Mais le systeme finit par s’installer (5h tout de même…) malgré les “Write Protect Off”.

-Rebelote pour installer lilo (grub2 bloque a chaque démarrage suivant un demarrage de Windows,et je dois effectuer une Rescue et le réinstaller; grub2 sectaire ?): cela met 10 min pour ecrire sur le disque.

Cependant, une fois installé
Je copie à la fin les resultats des commandes (je n’ai pas réussi à attacher de fichier…).

Une question subsidiaire, cela signifie-t-il que les disques Ultra ATA sont branches sur un controleur Scsi ? parce que ce n’est pas ce que montre le gestionnaire de peripheriques Windows, qui montre (par connection), mon disque sur un Contrôleur IDE Intel® 82801 - Ultra ATA Storage. J’ai essayé de comprendre quelque chose à ca en lisant des forums mais je n’ai pas tout compris. Dans mon esprit, le SCSI est une norme générale dont émane le ATA et le Ultra-ATA, pas un contrôleur spécifique. Corrigez-moi si je dis une bétise.

Pourtant le module piix_ide est chargé, mais peut-être faut-il un argument spécial.

Quelqu’un saurait-il comment faire ? puisque cela fonctionne très bien après l’installation, c’est que le noyau a les bons modules.

Merci d’avance, j’ai cherché partout mais j’ai l’impression d’être le seul à avoir ce problème. Pourtant c’est un portable donc tout est de série, je n’ai rien rajouté.

J’ai eu aussi un problème de blocage de l’installation debian 4R7 et 4R6, à l’installation
de GRUB le pc n’en finissait plus.
Installation à partir d’un CD et NET même problème.
J’ai solutionné en passant en console Ctrl - Alt - F2 (je ne me souvient plus si il faut le Ctrl et si c’était
F1 ou F2 ?..)
Une fois en mode console j’ai tué le dernier process (ps -ef) puis (kill -… process) ce qui à débloqué
l’écran d’installation .
Si cela peut d’aider j’en serais heureux…
ma machine: céléron 900 MHZ IDE. (elle rame un peu pour les compilations, mais la télé par VLC est OK.)

Non malheureusement ce n’est pas ca. Aucun process ne monopolise le systeme. Il s’agit uniquement de ce message systeme.
Meme si je tue l’installateur, quand il recommence, il fait pareil.

D’ailleurs, le meme phenomene (message a repetition avec ralentissement considerable) se produit si je formate en ext2.

Il me semble que le systeme cherche a reconfigurer le disque mais pourquoi et comment…

J’en suis arrivé à la conclusion qu’il faut chercher quelles sont les distributions qui acceptent SATA.
En partant d’une Knoppix 6.0 à peine plus lourde et en la complétant selon mes besoins je suis arrivé à quelquechose de satisfaisant :slightly_smiling:

Oui, Ubuntu en fait aussi partie (des distributions qui marchent avec Sata).

Mais ce qui m’intrigue, c’est que si je l’installe par bootstrap ou que j’attends les 5h que cela copie, une fois que je redemarre, cela fonctionne. Donc la distribution semble accepter le Sata, mais pas le Cd d’installation, pourtant le noyau est le meme…

Un argument a passer a ISOLINUX ?

Mais puisque les bons modules sont visibles par lsmod (libata, ata_piix), c’est qu’il suffit de lui dire de les utiliser, ou lui donner une option.

J’ai essaye ‘sync’ mais cela n’a rien donne. Et pourtant, sur l’installation que j’avais reussi a faire, il n’y avais pas d’option de montage de systeme de fichier, ni de demarrage.

D’ailleurs, est-il normal que ata_piix soit utilise par 0 processus, module ?

Après des mois de recherche (pas à plein temps rassurez-vous), il es ressort que:

-Avec Ubuntu 9 & 10, cela fonctionnait sans un message d’erreur (et avec Win$) aussi?
-Le disque devait avoir quelques problèmes car il a fini par lâcher définitivement tous systèmes confondus, à l’exception des 6 premiers cylindres qui me permettent de stocker le noyau (pas de boot sur Usb chez moi) Linux, initrd & grub2 pour une installation réalisée sur un disque externe.

Donc plus win$ et rien ne manque, je l’utilisais moins mais là…

Donc problème “résolu”.
