Je viens de sortir le vieil imac familiale du grenier (333Mhz / 64Mb) et je voulais installer debian ppc pour lui donner une seconde jeunesse. Il a à peu près 10 ans, mais n’a plus été utilisé depuis 4-5 ans.
J’ai installé debian ppc dessus (version unstable du 5 mai 08), et xfce
lorsque je lance xfce avec la commande startxfce4, l’écran devient noir et j’entend un bip et l’écran reste noir. Lorsque je tue le serveur x, je vois quelques messages du style :

thunar lost its connection to the display 0:0
xfdesktop lost its connection to the display 0:0
et je n’ai pas vu de fichier .xsession-errors
Donc visiblement la session se lance comme il faut, mais le serveur x est incapable de l’afficher.
J’ai regardé le fichier Xorg.0.log et j’ai comparé avec celui de mon PC, et j’ai trouvé deux erreurs sur celui de l’imac qui me paraissent bizarres.
