Ecran qui gressille après bascule en mode console

Bonjour a tous,

j’ai acheté en début d’année un ordinateur portable DELL inpiron 13z (no 1370) sur lequel j’ai installé une Debian Lenny (ma distri au quotidien sur la plupart de mes machines) et je rencontre un problème particulièrement embettant:

Lorsque je passe en mode console (control alt F1), ou que je quitte ma session gnome (control alt backspace), l’image de l’écran devient trés instable, elle grésille fortement, et il m’est impossible de revenir à un affichage correct (j’arrive à voir ce qui est à l’écran mais c’est tellement perturbé que je suis obligé de rebooter)

Mes investigations infructueuses:

avec le driver “nvidia”, si je vais en mode console ça vibre, mais lorsque je reviens sous X l’affichage reste ko
avec le driver “nv”, si je vais en mode console ça vibre, mais lorsque je reviens sous X l’affichage est correct

j’ai tenté d’installer une version plus récente du noyau (via les backports)
j’ai tenté de recompiler/customiser un noyau
j’ai testé avec plusieurs livecd d’origines variée (Ubuntu, Mandriva, etc.) et le problème semble transversal (non lié a une distribution particulière)
j’ai tenté avec les drivers “beta” chez nvidia mais c’est pareil

Le problème ne semble pas provenir d’une panne matérielle car j’ai contacté un autre utilisateur sur ubunu-fr.org qui rencontre le même problème et qui sèche comme moi. (http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=361980)

Bref, sur ce problème, votre aide serait la bienvenue =)

comme le problème apparais aussi sur le driver libre “nv”, je suppose qu’il devrait y avoir la possibilité de mettre une trace sur noyau pour identifier à quel niveau ça dysfonctionne (mais ça dépasse mes compétences)

J’ai tenté d’ajouter plus d’informations ci-dessous, mais j’ai atteint le nombre maximal de caractères autorisé de 60000 :slightly_smiling:

Je suis sur Toulouse et je peux éventuellement me déplacer pour montrer ma machine si nécessaire…
