Voila deja six mois que ma debian ne joue plus de son, au debut c’etait un simple caprice qui passait à base de alsaconf, mais un beau jour, ça n’a plus suffit (on appele ça la tolérance en toxicologie). J’avais en retour un message comme quoi tout allait bien. La carte son est intégrée à ma carte mère asrock alivenf6, le son passe sous livecd,j’ai suivi moults posts ces 6 derniers mois : c’est pas un probleme de adduser au groupe audio, de branchement ou de volume, j’ai un noyau 2-6-18-6 amd64.
apt-get purge alsa et cie n’a rien donné.

$alsamixer

tout te parait bon ?

quand tu ouvres le contrôleur de volume de gnome (ou autre) il n’y a rien en “mute” ?

Je suis allé chercher sur tous les boutons volumes que j’ai pu trouver, j’ai changé le jack de place, sous knoppix il faut le mettre dans la fiche micro, bref ça n’a pas l’air de venir de là, par contre, tu as mis le doigt sur quelquechose, il y a quelque chose de louche là dessous

Ca vient peut etre de apt qui me renvoit une erreur systématique après une install foirée de java, mais ça m’étonnerait, le système est stable, j’ai jamais gardé un OS aussi longtemps.

Si vous avez mieux à faire en ce dimanche matin qu’à vous décarcasser sur ce point je vous applaudirai, sinon je vous en remercierai.

si tu as ce resultat:

c’est que la commande alsamixer est bien présente,
alsamixer fait partie du paquet alsa-utils

tu as bien les 2 paquets alsa-utils alsa-base ?
Essayes de les réinstaller ?

apt-get remove --purge alsa-base alsa-utils
apt-get install alsa-base alsa-utils

Je vois que la notion de dimanche matin est très relative.

Ben en fait ils sont bien installés et la purge les a pas mieux réinstallés. L’huile de ricin aurait été aussi peu efficace mais l’idée était la bienvenue.

Ta base de détection PCI n’est peut être plus à jour: que donne un reboot aprés un update-pciids ?
Sinon, si tu sais quel module alsa est censé gèrer ta carte, l’ajout de ce module dans /etc/modules devrait suffire, non ?

que se passe t’il quand tu fais un modprobe snd-hda-intel ?

après une petite recherche sur “Audio device: nVidia Corporation MCP61 High Definition Audio” j’ai trouvé quelque chose qui peut t’intéresser :

sinon il y en a un sous suse qui a reglé le problème en installant le pilote realtek

Si ça peut te “rassurer” on trouve des gens qui ont aussi des problème sous windows avec le nVidia Corporation:MCP61 High Definition Audio

le module snd-hda-intel n’y ait pas et si je le modprobe, il disparait au reboot

“options snd-hda-intel model=3stack/auto” ne donne rien

Quant à l’installation du driver j’avais vu ce post mais il m’avait fait peur.

Excuse moi, j’aurais raté l’occasion de donner une bonne premiere impression que ça ne m’étonnerait pas.

update-pciids n’a rien donné et je ne saurai pas installer un module, je comptais me documenter mais je me suis laissé divertir par les posts suivants

(…)[/quote] De fait, c’est un fichier gèré par debian qu’il vaut mieux ne pas toucher pour qu’il soit mis à jour sans message. Il vaut mieux créer un fichier /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base-perso ou tu fais tes essais, c’est plus propre.

Sinon, je n’ai pas compris ton dernier post: ça fonctionne ou pas ?

Mais tu as bien snd-hda-intel de chargé (si tu pouvais être précis dans tes réponses, merci) ?

Parceque si oui, maintenant, il faut jouer sur les arguments de la ligne “option snd-hda-intel…”.

As tu vérifié avec un mixer quelconque (gmix, si tu es sous gnome) que les canaux était bien actif et que le niveau n’était pas à zéro ?

Il disparait au reboot c’est normal, c’est pour ça que mattotop t’a dit de l’ajouter dans /etc/modules

le module se charge t’il bien ? le vois tu bien dans la liste quand tu fais un lsmod après l’avoir chargé ?

si oui alors que donne alsamixer ?

Mais il y a une piste, comme j’ai vu ce matin sur un pb similaire avec un autre chip hda-intel:
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=7022&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&start=58
il faudrait regarder dans la doc du module indiquée dans le fil ce qui concerne le MPC61, pour voir les autres modèles disponibles pour ce chip que 3stack et auto (il y en a forcément d’autres).
C’est quoi ta machine ?
