Voici mes log:

Proposition toute conne : si tu passais à Xorg ?

J'ai viré gdm et je l'ai remplacé par kdm, qui lui me donne le message suivant: "xsession unable to launch" "xsession ---" Not found; falling back to defaut session OK?

ok tu peux quotter ton fichier inittab

ca doit donner un truc du genre

autre exemple d’inittab chez moi :

[quote]# /etc/inittab: init( 8 ) configuration.

$Id: inittab,v 1.91 2002/01/25 13:35:21 miquels Exp $

The default runlevel.

id:2:initdefault:

Boot-time system configuration/initialization script.

This is run first except when booting in emergency (-b) mode.

si::sysinit:/etc/init.d/rcS

What to do in single-user mode.

~~:S:wait:/sbin/sulogin

/etc/init.d executes the S and K scripts upon change

of runlevel.

Runlevel 0 is halt.

Runlevel 1 is single-user.

Runlevels 2-5 are multi-user.

Runlevel 6 is reboot.

l0:0:wait:/etc/init.d/rc 0
l1:1:wait:/etc/init.d/rc 1
l2:2:wait:/etc/init.d/rc 2
l3:3:wait:/etc/init.d/rc 3
l4:4:wait:/etc/init.d/rc 4
l5:5:wait:/etc/init.d/rc 5
l6:6:wait:/etc/init.d/rc 6

Normally not reached, but fallthrough in case of emergency.

z6:6:respawn:/sbin/sulogin

What to do when CTRL-ALT-DEL is pressed.

ca:12345:ctrlaltdel:/sbin/shutdown -t1 -a -r now

Action on special keypress (ALT-UpArrow).

#kb::kbrequest:/bin/echo “Keyboard Request–edit /etc/inittab to let this work.”

What to do when the power fails/returns.

pf::powerwait:/etc/init.d/powerfail start
pn::powerfailnow:/etc/init.d/powerfail now
po::powerokwait:/etc/init.d/powerfail stop

/sbin/getty invocations for the runlevels.

The “id” field MUST be the same as the last

characters of the device (after “tty”).

Format:

:::

Note that on most Debian systems tty7 is used by the X Window System,

so if you want to add more getty’s go ahead but skip tty7 if you run X.

1:2345:respawn:/sbin/getty 38400 tty1
2:23:respawn:/sbin/getty 38400 tty2
3:23:respawn:/sbin/getty 38400 tty3
4:23:respawn:/sbin/getty 38400 tty4
5:23:respawn:/sbin/getty 38400 tty5
6:23:respawn:/sbin/getty 38400 tty6

Example how to put a getty on a serial line (for a terminal)

#T0:23:respawn:/sbin/getty -L ttyS0 9600 vt100
#T1:23:respawn:/sbin/getty -L ttyS1 9600 vt100

Example how to put a getty on a modem line.

#T3:23:respawn:/sbin/mgetty -x0 -s 57600 ttyS3[/quote]

apt-get remove --purge xfree kdm gdm gnome kde
apt-get update
apt-get install xserver-xorg xserver-xorg-core kdm kde
si tu arrives jusqu’à l’invite :
ton login
ton pass
$ startx

[quote=“CAPUCINE”]Que pensez vous de:

$ ls -l /etc/X11/sessions/ ls: /etc/X11/sessions/: No such file or directory

$ ls -l /etc/dm/Sessions/ ls: /etc/dm/Sessions/: No such file or directory

$ ls -l /usr/share/gdm/BuiltInSessions/ total 8 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 7642 2006-05-03 09:13 default.desktop

$ ls -l /usr/share/xsessions/ total 4 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2906 2006-05-31 18:44 gnome.desktop

XF86Config file is supplied with XFree86; it is configured for a standard
VGA card and monitor with 640x480 resolution. This program will ask for a
pathname when it is ready to write the file.

You can either take the sample XF86Config as a base and edit it for your
configuration, or let this program produce a base XF86Config file for your
configuration and fine-tune it.

Before continuing with this program, make sure you know what video card
you have, and preferably also the chipset it uses and the amount of video
memory on your video card. SuperProbe may be able to help with this.

Press enter to continue, or ctrl-c to abort.

First specify a mouse protocol type. Choose one from the following list:

 1.  Auto
 2.  SysMouse
 3.  MouseSystems
 4.  PS/2
 5.  Microsoft
 6.  Busmouse
 7.  IMPS/2
 8.  ExplorerPS/2
 9.  GlidePointPS/2
10.  MouseManPlusPS/2
11.  NetMousePS/2
12.  NetScrollPS/2
13.  ThinkingMousePS/2
14.  AceCad

The recommended protocol is Auto. If you have a very old mouse
or don't want OS support or auto detection, and you have a two-button
or three-button serial mouse, it is most likely of type Microsoft.

Enter a protocol number: SWFDEC: ERROR: swfdec_font.c(158): tag_func_define_font _2: langcode 1

Si je choisi gnome ou kde j’ai le message:"xsession unable to launch" "xsession ---" Not found; falling back to defaut session OK?

chown -R capucine:capucine ~/ chmod -R 775 ~/
