J’ai essayé de configurer sans succès ma sortie tv, et puis je me suis un peu raté dans la configuration de preference mais bon… ceux la je n’y ai pas encore touché. :frowning:

Quand je lance xinit /usr/bin/xterm – :0 l’écran devient noir puis au bout de 10s je suis à nouveau en console avec mon “capucine$”.

Oui tous les fichiers
et ensuite essaye un xinit /usr/bin/xterm – : 0 &> /tmp/xinit.log
Et si tu a une fenetre graphique qui s’ouvre, lance un gnome-session.

Ah oui donc c’est normal que gnome-session se lance pas. Tu peux pas lancer gnome-session directement sur la console, ou alors il faut fixer le DISPLAY qui lui dit ou l’affichage doit se faire.

Le strace fini par tourner en rond en affichant:

Juste avant de constater que le serverx ne fonctionnait plus j’ai récupéré mon pc planté ( a la sortie de l’ecran de veille) il n’y avait plus d’icone sur le bureau.
J’ai redemarré, mais le bios avait pris un coup dans l’aile aussi. Sous win j’ai vu que l’horloge était fausse de 3 ou 4 h. Est-ce que le tout peut avoir un rapport?[/code]

Je repette que ca sert a rien d’essayer de lancer gnome-session ou le strace en console! Ca marchera pas!

J’ai lancé xterm, puis dans la console du xterm j’ai tapé gnome-session.
C’est une très bonne simulation du plantage que j’ai…
J’ai attendu un moment, pusi comme il ne se passait plus rien j’ai essayé exit, mais cela n’a rien fait alors j’ai fait un ctrl-Alt-backspace.
J’ai renouvelé l’operation avec strace, puis j’ai quitté avec Ctrl-Alt…

Donc on peut dire que:
“Faut il sortir la hache pour utiliser le server x en user?”

C’est pas X-window qui est en cause (la question que je me posais il y a une dixaine de post…).

Deja il faudrait fixer les permissions dans /usr/share (au cas ou tout ne soit pas bon)

Que faut il chercher? Peut on faire un grep quelque chose?
