Gel du système régulièrement

Bonjour,
Mon système gel (trop) régulièrement (plus moyen de faire quoi que ce soit même retourner sous un tty, la charge CPU est à 100%)) et je n’ai pas trouvé la cause donc je sollicite votre aide car les hard reboot c’est quand même pas top…

Voici ma config
:
matériel : CM Asus P5q-vm, CPU Intel core 2duo E7400, ram Corsair dominator, disque dur sata Western Digital Raptor.
Logiciel : Debian Squeeze AMD64 noyau 2.6.30-1-amd64 (ou 2.6.26-2-amd64) avec le sources.list par défaut et pas de fichier preferences, bureau LXDE, pilote graphique “intel”.

J’avais d’abord cru que c’était à cause de l’ancien disc dur que j’avais, un Maxtor (nc) ou du moins les systèmes de fichier des partitions qui étaient dessus, je l’ai donc remplacé pour un Western Digital Raptor en repartant avec des systèmes de fichier propre et une install neuve mais j’ai toujours le problème…

Personnellement, je soupçonne dans l’ordre :

  1. Iceweasel+flash d’être responsable mais en même temps je me demande comment une application (même si elle allergique au 64bits) lancée en espace utilisateur avec un utilisateur simple peut faire planter le système intégralement donc j’ai un doute.
  2. pilote graphique (intel) qui merdouille (j’utilise le controleur graphique intel G45 de la carte mère)
  3. un problème matériel (mais là je vois pas quoi comme j’ai déjà changé de DD, que la CM, la mémoire et le CPU sont neufs)

Il n’y a pas foule ! et à vrai dire je ne saurai t’aider.
J’ai eu des phénomènes similaires avec Lenny après avoir “installé” le pilote wifi avec un tuto suivi pas à pas qui avait eu le mérite de faire fonctionner le wlan, mais qui était à l’origine ( je n’ai pas trouvé d’autre explication et c’était le seul paramètre modifié) d’un message " your système had a kernel failed" dont personne n’a trouvé l’explication.
La conséquence était un gonflement fulgurant et répétitif des “logs” qui remplissaient totalement la partition racine.

Après des manoeuvres et des conseils divers, j’ai fini par abandonner, formater et réinstaller Lenny en restant avec une connexion par câble, et donc sans cet ennui.

Toutefois, sur l’aspect “gel du système” j’ai aussi des “bizarreries” depuis plusieurs mois, et il semble que l’explication soit difficile à trouver.

Je suis en dual boot Lenny-XP sur une machine avec processeur AMD64 et :

Je n’ai jamais réussi a y installer Ubuntu (8.10 ou 9.04) malgré des dizaines d’essais. Les installls ont toutes
planté, plus ou moins vite, et si une seule fois je suis allé avec une Jaunty jusqu’à une installation complète, le système s’est mis à “freezer” se figer dans les quelques minutes, voire qques secondes après la saisie utilisateur-login.
Seule la Lenny s’installe correctement, sauf si j’autorise le rapatriement des paquets via un miroir officiel pendant l’install. ( deux installs plantées à cause de çà)
Très récemment, en modifiant les dépôts pour passer en Sqeeze, j’ai fait la mise à jour, et le système n’a jamais voulu redémarrer : plus de clavier ni de souris au moment de la saisie utilisateur-login.
Impossible de réparer malgré les aides trouvées ici ou la.
J’ai dû reformater et réinstaller.

Je suis toujours à la recherche de l’explication avec plusieurs pistes incertaines.

  • Le processeur AMD64 qui est presque toujours présent sur les pb de “gel système” quand on parcourt les forums,
  • Le fait d’être en dual-boot ( sur d’autres machines avec seulement ubuntu le pb ne s’est jamais posé),
  • Un “truc” sur le noyau ?
  • Quelque chose dans certains paquets Ubuntu et Squeeze ? ( le gel ne se produit pas sous Lenny )

L’aspect matériel, que j’ai abordé dans différentes discussions, semble par ton expérience, plutôt à écarter, j’ai pour ma part changé les barrettes DDR sur les conseils d’un geek et ce n’est pas non plus l’explication.

Je suis trop béotien pour comparer davantage les deux “affaires”, il me semble cependant que si les coupables dans ton cas étaient Iceweasel ou Flashplayer, il est facile de les désinstaller, et de les remettre selon le résultat.

Je ne crois pas à un pbm de iceweasel. Le cas de eggregor s’expliquait par l’ajout d’un module qui peut mettre la pagaille (dans son cas, je regarderais bien la compatibilité entre le module ajouté et son noyau mais bon…). L’origine du crash semble être dans la gestion des pages mémoire. Je chercherais du coté du pbm de RAM, ça n’est pas parce que c’est neuf que ça marche. Fais un test RAM avec memtest

Salut Eggregor, merci de t’être dévouer à m’aider. Je n’ai pas de carte wifi sur ce PC mais effectivement cela pourrait venir d’un pilote/module réseau comme en général le freeze se déclenche pendant l’utilisation d’un navigateur ou autre applications réseaux mais je ne vois rien dans mes logs qui pourrait confirmer cette hypothèse.

ggoodluck47 et fran.b j’ai effectivement déjà eu des soucis liés à la mémoire : j’avais mis mes barrettes de ram en dual channel hors ce type de ram le supportait pas donc quand je faisais un memtest j’avais un nombre infini d’erreurs mais en les remettant bien et en refaisant un memtest j’avais plu d’erreur.

Un memtest m’a en effet révélé bien des choses puisqu’il me trouve de retour pas mal d’erreurs (apparemment concentrées à des adresses comprisent entre 612,xx et 615,xxMB)…

Je ne vois pas de quoi ça peut venir là puisque mes barettes (Corsair TWIN2X4096-8500C5D G DDR2 1066MHz) sont explicement marquées dans la liste des barettes mémoires compatibles dans le livret de ma carte mère (Asus P5Q-VM).

Est-ce que le fait de les avoir utilisées en dual channel à tord, avant de me rendre compte qu’elles ne supportaient que le single channel, aurait pu avoir un impact?j’avais pourtant fais un memtest après les avoir remises en single channel et il ne trouvait plus aucune erreur.

Niveau BIOS j’ai laissé tout les paramètres concernant la mémoire en [auto].

Je remarque quand même des incohérences dans le memtest, à la ligne settings il me met :
RAM : 400MHz (DDR800) alors que c’est de la 1600MHz DDR2-8500
et
CAS : 5-5-5-18 alors que le constructeur indique du 5-5-5-15 pour ce modèle

Alors sur ce point, je ne peux pas vraiment t’adier. En son temps Rodmov maitrisait ce sujet mais ça fait longtemps que je ne l’ai pas lu…

C’est dommage, on ne voit plus certaines personnes qui étaient très pro dans leur domaine :frowning:

Le plus gros est fait on a ciblé le problème, c’était bien matériel ça explique pourquoi une réinstall n’a rien réglé. Après je vais essayer de me débrouiller comme ça ne concerne plus Debian mais si Rodmov ou quelqu’un d’autre à des suggestions je suis toujours preneur :smt006

Je viens d’essayer de configurer les paramètres mémoires en manuel dans le bios avec les données constructeurs ainsi que d’intervertir les barrettes de socket dimm et j’ai toujours des erreurs donc je vais voir avec la garantie 10ans annoncé par Corsair…

Tu peux regarder 2 chose avant de tout changer:

  • problème de connexion (vérifie que tout est bien enfoncé dans les connecteurs)
  • problème de température: fait fonctionner l’ordi eavec le capot ouvert pour voir si le pb se reproduit.

Peut étre aussi un pb sur la CM, changer de mémoire ne résoudra rien: essaie avec d’autres mémoires que tu aurais sous la main.

En fait c’était une de mes 2 barettes de ram qui était défectueuse, j’ai refais le memtest en ne mettant qu’une barrette à chaque fois, avec l’une d’entre elles aucune erreur et avec l’autre plus de 500 erreurs…Le kit de barette est donc reparti en S.A.V pour un échange

Tu veux dire que si les deux barrettes étaient présentes aucune erreur n’était détectée ?

Si si avec les 2barrettes j’obtenais les même erreurs qu’avec la barrette défectueuse toute seule
