génération xorg.conf impossible

J’ai un serveur X qui fonctionne sur un laptop avec video Intel intégrée avec le driver xserver-xorg-video-intel / Wheezy-backports AMD64

Suite à un pb d’erreur “X Error of failed request: BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation…” sur lancement d’un programme j’ai essayé d’appliquer les solutions du post forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=81286 mais sans succès.

Il n’y aurait pas encore de driver opérationnel pour la carte Intel Corporation Haswell Integrated Graphics !?

Au passage, il n’est plus utile de créer de fichier /etc/X11/xorg.conf, sauf en cas de besoins spécifiques.

Pour ton pilote, je ne connais pas ces cartes, mais ce paquet mériterait peut-être d’être installé : [mono]i965-va-driver[/mono] ?

Je viens de résoudre un problème de vidéo juste en installant x11-common et xbase-clients qui n’étaient pas installés.

Merci pour ces infos, xbase-clients n’était pas installé mais son intallation n’a rien changé au pb. Le serveur X fonctionne pour tous les autres programmes que j’ai testés, comme VLC. Seul 0ad plante

Est-ce que je ne risque pas de perdre carrément l’affichage en répondant Yes ?

C’est possible comme lors de toute mise à jour, mais peu probable. Comment se fait-ce que tu sois toujours en oldstable ? Il serait de bon ton de mettre à jour ton système.
