Le bureau gnome vient d’être mis à jour sur Debian testing, que j’utilise. Malheureusement il ne semble pas fonctionner : j’arrive sur le bureau mais je n’accède à rien, le menu “activités” ne s’éclaire pas au passage de la souris, le clic gauche n’a pas d’effet, ni quoi que se soit d’autre. Je démarre donc pour l’instant le bureau avec la version “fallback”.
J’ai une carte nvidia et j’utilise les pilotes propriétaires, le serveur X se lance normalement, je vois le logo nvidia, j’ai direct rendering: Yes quand je lance glxinfo. Quelqu’un pourrait-il me donner une piste ?
essaye la commande gnome-shell --replace
Alors la commande fonctionne, je me retrouve bien sur le bureau gnome 3 en mode “non restreint”, mais par contre le bureau ne marche toujours pas, je le vois mais la souris ne déclenche rien (je peux la déplacer quand même).
Et un reboot ?
Non plus. J’ai essayé aussi de créer un nouvel utilisateur pour avoir un /home vierge de fichiers de config de gnome 2, ça n’a rien donné non plus.
Si le serveur graphique se lance (souris, bonne résolution) et qu’en plus tu as le direct rendering à “Yes”, ça m’etonnerait que ça viennent des pilotes…
Tu es en testing, gnome marchait et un nouvel utilisateur (bon reflexe) ne résoud rien. Ce sent le soucis du coté des paquets mal installés/mis à jour.
Teste peut être avec un autre environement pour voir (lxde ou xfce) ou essaie de reinstaller gnome.
J’ai essayé de réinstaller tout gnome, j’ai enlevé tous les paquets gnome-*, avec l’option --purge, tout réinstallé, ça ne marche toujours pas. Je joins Xorg.0.log.

Je fais toutes les updates depuis 2 semaines, gnome-shell est toujours cassé.
C’était un problème lié au driver nvidia, résolu par la dernière mise à jour (295.20-1).
