Causes possibles :

  • le BIOS a chargé un GRUB qui reste d’une ancienne installation supprimée/remplacée et non le GRUB du système actuel (peut arriver avec deux disque si le BIOS boote sur le mauvais disque).
  • la partition contenant /boot/grub a changé de numéro
  • le disque ou la partition contenant /boot/grub est manquant
  • le système de fichiers contenant /boot/grub est endommagé
  • le répertoire /boot/grub a été entièrement ou partiellement supprimé

Le chargeur GRUB pour PC BIOS (grub-pc) est toujours i386, même avec un système amd64.
