Voici les données du problème:
OS: Debian 7.7 wheezy stable amd64 (OS unique)
Scanner: HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP m177fw-fax connexion usb au PC et wifi
HP manager: 3.14.10 installé en suivant les instructions de compilation. Installation réussie:
deux périphériques détectés: l’imprimante et le fax.
L’imprimante fonctionne correctement dans les tâches d’impression ce qui semble montrer que la compilation de HPLIP résout le “warning: Distro 7.7 not supported”
hp-check -t ne signale apparemment pas d’anomalies:

Pourtant en lançant le scan depuis HPLIP ou depuis Xsane l’erreur suivante apparaît:
“Echec de l’obtention de l’option mode: Paramètre non valable.”
En outre j’ai suivi les instructions de ce lien (qui semble traiter la question):

et j’ai donc ajouté au fichier en question la ligne
ATTRS{idVendor}==“03f0”, ATTRS{idProduct}==“332a”, ENV{libsane_matched}=“yes”
et aussi décommenté la ligne contenant l’expression MODE==“0664” (à tout hasard)
Cela ne change rien au problème en redémarrant le PC et l’imprimante.
Ma question est 
comment parvenir à scanner avec cette config matérielle ou bien comment faut-il procéder pour faire une réinstallation en Debian 7.6 (et cela réglera-t-il réellement le problème)???
