Bonjour à tous.

Je rencontre désormais un soucis avec mon serveur Debian. Lorsque je fais un apt-get update il est extrêmement lent (plus d’une heure) et je reçois à la fin des centaines de fois la ligne “Ignoring translated description fr LC_ALL=fr_FR.UTF-8 LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8”

La commande apt-get me donne ceci:
sudo apt-get update

Que dit locale -a ?
Chez moi, ça ressemble à ça:

mj@mercure:~$ sudo locale -a
C
C.UTF-8
fr_FR.utf8
POSIX

Si ce que ça t’annonce te parait incohérent (pas de fr_FR.utf8 par exemple) ça peut valoir le coup de reconfigurer avec sudo dpkg-reconfigure locales

Ensuite, au niveau de tes sources, il faudrait connaitre le contenu de ton fichier /etc/apt/sources.list et des fichiers contenus dans /etc/apt/sources.list.d
Mais c’est peut être tes choix de dépots qui pêchent, avec un depot ftp.debian.org un peu saturé, par exemple.
Regardes ici sur quels dépots tu pourrais installer deb.debian.org qui fait une redirection auto vers le serveur le plus proche de chez toi.

Dernière chose: que donnent apt update et aptitude update, comme alternative ?

ne renvoi rien (fichier vide)

J’ai updaté ma soources.list en pointant sur le serveur ftp belge mais çà ne change rien.

apt update
aussi lent

et aptitude ne semble pas installé mais si je lance apt-get install aptitude il met des heures en “reading package list”

C’est un répertoire, pas un fichier.
Il peut contenir des fichiers.list avec des dépots complémentaires.
Personnellement, mon sources.list est vide, et j’ai chaque dépot dans un fichier séparé, comme ça, quand je ne veut plus d’un dépot, je le renomme en .list.disabled, et il n’est plus utilisé.

Bref, tu ne dois rien avoir dans ce répertoire a priori.

Piste:
essayes ça pour voir:
sudo apt-get -o Acquire::ForceIPv4=true update

Ce n’est pas ce que je t’ai conseillé.
Laisse debian choisir lui même le serveur le plus adapté pour toi en utilisant deb.debian.org
regarde le site http://deb.debian.org/

Désolé la commande je ne l’avais pas vue passé. Oui le dossier sources.list.D est bien vide

Problème résolu:

J’ai remarqué dans le dossier apt/lists/ des security en .eng
je les ai sauvegardés puis effacé du serveur.

cd /var/lib/apt/lists/
rm -Rf security.debian.org_*

Desormais apt-get update @@ apt-get upgrade se font à 12M/s et plus aucun message d’erreur.

Comme quoi un bonne nuit de sommeil…
