Install tablette wacom volito 2

j’essaye d’installer ma tablette graphique , une wacom volito 2.
après des recherches sur internet , j’en suis arrivé là , mais sans résultats pour l’instant .
j’ai essayé avec le pilote wacom.ko fourni avec debian etch et en copiant le 0.7.6.4 du site linux wacom , sans succès , pour l’instant je n’arrive meme pas a bouger le stylet .
les modifs sont en vert et les infos en bleu .

Pourquoi tu prends event3, et pas /dev/input/wacom ou même /dev/input/tablet-volito2-4x5, comme entrée ? tu as essayé ?

je vois que l’option “ForceDevice” “ISDV4” est réservée aux tabletpc. Tu as essayé sans ?
Tu pourrais donner le contenu de ton xorg.conf (expurgé des trucs vraiment inutiles, si tu en as le courage).

(…)[/quote]Je crois que tu confonds tablette pour PC et Tablet-PC (un portable avec le pad intègré). Dans le man, de toutes façons, il est dit que cette option concerne un dispositif serie, ce qui n’est pas ton cas.
As tu au moins essayé sans ?

Sinon, je voulais parler de X.0.log, pas de xorg.conf, j’ai ecrit un peu vite.
Que disent tes logs, donc.

je viens de tester sans l’option “ForceDevice” "ISDV4"
sans résultat .

j’ai mis /dev/input/tablet-volito2-4x5 comme entée .
sans resultat

xserver-xorg-input-wacom wacom-tools sont installés

par contre le paquet wacom-kernel-sources(je sais pas si il doit etre installé)me retourne une erreur

c’est pas comme ça qu’on utilise les wacom-kernel-sources.
Si tu veux te fabriquer un module wacom “sur mesure” pour ton noyau actuel (ça peut etre interressant), c’est simple, en root:

aptitude install module-assistant m-a a-i wacom-kernel-sourcesaprés, tu rebootes, et tu testes (sans l’option, même si ça ne change rien, c’est sûr qu’elle ne concerne pas une tablette usb, c’est marqué dans le man).

ça fonctionnait avec ubuntu , je detectais le stylet sur l’event 3 .

j’ai testé les entrées tablet-volito2-4x5 et wacom que tu indiques comme le reste , sans succés .

tu as essayé de redémarrer le server X avec la tablette branchée et de refaire des tests
sur mes machines , si je la branche une fois sur le bureau , ben ça marche pas ,ok apres avoir relançé le serveur x

la tablette est branchée en permanence , j’ai relancé X plusieurs fois , redemarré ,sans succés .

je testerais d’autre port usb , sinon je l’utiliserais avec ubuntu.

je viens de la tester sur mon portable , sous ubuntu feisty , je branche , ça fonctionne , et je la detecte avec cat event3 | od en 2 minutes .

j’ai recupéré le pilote wacom.ko de feisty que j’ai copier sous debian

toujours rien , relance de X , redémarrage , rien.

il doit manquer quelque chose.

ce pc tournait sous ubuntu avant et la tablette fonctionnait!
