Bonjour,
je suis depuis tres peu de temps sur GNU/linux,
apres être passé sur knoppix et kubuntu je suis maintenant sur debian etch,
et nage largement en eau trouble.
j’ai un souci je pense d’acceleration materielle qui ne se ferait pas,
c.a.d mon systeme fonctionne tres bien, mais je ne suis pas sûr qu’il
soit graphiquement au top, puisque lorsque je lance le simulateur de vol Flightgear, le systeme est tres long à le demarrer, et saccade plus que fortement une fois ouvert (au point qu’il soit impossible de l’utiliser). j’avais le même souci avec kubuntu, alors qu’un jeu comme quake3arena tournait apriori normalement.
Au delà des jeux, ce qui m’interesse bien-sûr c’est de savoir configurer et verifier mon systeme que voici :

la carte semble donc automatiquement détectée et installée, mais j’ai lu sur l’introduction des wiki debian sur les carte ATI : Ce portail traite de l’installation des cartes graphiques. L’installation d’une carte passe essentiellement par deux étapes qui sont l’installation du pilote (aussi appelé driver ou module) et la configuration de votre système graphique. Parfois, les cartes graphiques sont détectées automatiquement (support natif). Le support de l’accélération 3D nécessite quant à lui l’installation fréquente d’un pilote propriétaire
Apres quelques heures de recherches, j’ai donc approché des notions comme xorg, flgrx, xfree86, pilotes proprietaires, mais je n’arrive pas à synthétiser ces infos, surtout pour cette carte graphique.
