INSTALLATION : virtualbox 4.3 sous Wheezy

Bonjour,

A la fin de installation de virtualbox 4.3 sous Wheezy j’ai ce message d’erreur :

Stopping VirtualBox kernel modules ...done. Uninstalling old VirtualBox DKMS kernel modules ...done. Trying to register the VirtualBox kernel modules using DKMSError! Your kernel headers for kernel 2.6.32-5-686 cannot be found. Please install the linux-headers-2.6.32-5-686 package, or use the --kernelsourcedir option to tell DKMS where it's located ...failed! J’ai donc été voir dans le fichier log cité :

Avez vous une idée du problème car je me tire les cheveux depuis ce matin.

As tu les linux-headers comme indiqué ?

ce que je trouve également étrange, c’est que tu ne sois pas en linux 3.2.0-4

J’ai trouvé la solution.

Bon je suis un âne. :119

C’est ça quand on a la tête dans le guidon toute la journée.

En faites j’ai upgradé la machine de Squeeze a Wheezy puis j’ai installé virtualbox 4.3 sauf qu’entre temps je n’avais pas redemarré la machine donc le noyau était toujours celui de squeeze donc le 2.6.32-5-686.

Il m’a suffit de faire un reboot puis de lancer :

uname -a Linux 3.2.0-4-686-pae #1 SMP Debian 3.2.60-1+deb7u3 i686 GNU/Linux /etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup Stopping VirtualBox kernel modules ...done. Uninstalling old VirtualBox DKMS kernel modules ...done. Removing old VirtualBox pci kernel module ...done. Removing old VirtualBox netadp kernel module ...done. Removing old VirtualBox netflt kernel module ...done. Removing old VirtualBox kernel module ...done. Trying to register the VirtualBox kernel modules using DKMS ...done. Starting VirtualBox kernel modules ...done.

et tout est OK.
