J’ai suivit ce wiki wiki.debian.org/fr/Xfce#Installation_de_Xfce et gnome est toujours la et avec gdm3 je ne peu pas prendre xfce4 comme choix et pourtant il est installer apt-get install xfce4…???
Une idées???
Pour supprimer le coeur de gnome: apt-get remove --purge gnome-core 
Sinon, supprime gdm3 ou garde le, puis installe lightdm.
Si tu gardes gdm3, à l’installation lightdm, il te demandera quel gestionnaire de connexion devra être utilisé, choisis lightdm.

Humm…j’ai purgé gnome et gdm3!
J’ai remplacer gdm3 par xdm… xdm ne me propose pas plus de choisir xfce4, qui est déjà installer…?
Lightdm, n’est pas recommender pour squeeze (et quand j’essaie l’install, il veut m’enlever des programmes…
Et gnome est toujours installé, après un reboot!..??..
je comprend pas…

Si tu veux garder gnome sa pose pas problème.
Installe: slim
Choisis xfce4 et c’est fini.
Tu poses tellement de question douteux, qu’on doute, que tu doutes, que tu as installé ou pas installé les paquets.
- apt-get install slim xfce4
- reboot
- sur slim, entre tes données de connexion et choisis xfce4 via la touche F1 qui permet de choisir sur quoi démarré.
Oui s’cusez, je me suis mal relu!
Je comprenais pas pourquoi en ayant installer xde, ou meme avec gdm3, je ne pouvais pas demarrer sur xfce4, si il était installer!

Je peux supprimer le reste avec synaptic… Ext-ce que je peux tout enlever ce qui concerne gnome?
Sinon est-ce qui aurais pas un moyen d’installer squeeze direct avec xfce et sans gnome?
