Bonsoir à tous,

Je viens d’acquérir cette webcam … j’ai suivi quelques tutos mais en vain.
Quelqu’un pourrait il m’aider afin de m’aider à installer ce périphérique et en même temps comprendre l’installation d’u périphérique usb, vérifie son fonctionnalité ??

c’est étrange … ibmcam, soyons bourin, ça veut dire une webcam d’ibm, non ? Alors, phillips ou ibm (logitech étant une sous marque de phillips) ? si c’est un quickam logitech, ça n’est pas le bon driver qui est chargé par le noyau .
Il ne faudrait pas plutot le qc-usb … je me souviens pas exactement ?
Déjà, trouvé le bon module, (pilote, driver), ensuite faire en sorte que ibmcam ne se charge pas par erreur peut-être …

Suite à différentes recherches, j’ai abouti à cette solution :

Tout d’abord, j’ai réussi à trouver le driver prenant en charge cette webcam Logitech Ultra Vision à cette adresse : mxhaard.free.fr/spca5xx.html puis j’ai executer ce code en root :

apt-get install linux-source build-essential linux-headers-$(uname -r)

tar xvzf gspcav1-20070110.tar.gz
cd gspcav1-20070110 puis ./gspca_build

La compilation s’effectue à priori sans pbs et je retombe à la ligne de commande en root.

Bon je me dis ok tout est bon. Je revérifie le branchement de la web cam et en plus je reboote pour plus de sécurité.

Je lance sous console camstream pour le bon fonctionnement mais rien …
je charge manuellement les pilotes en tapant : modprobe gspca et je vérifie avec la commande dmesg qui me donne ceci :

apt-get install est un outil pour installer les paquets sous debian
Il t’installe donc les paquets linux-source (la je ne comprend pas trop il doit avoir un petit soucis quelque part), build-essentiel le paquet avec ce qu’il faut d’essentiel pour la construction des modules, et les headers c’est les entetes nécessaire a la compilation.

Déjà, installe camorama, car certaines versions d’amsn sont capricieuses avec les webcams.

Tu as bien un device /dev/video0 (ou approchant) ?

oui effectivement, amsn n’est pas l’idéal pour commencer à faire tourner une webcam, le mieux est (camaorama peut¯être je ne connais pas) camstraem mais surtout xawtv …
Mais je te signale que tu es à côté de la plaque avec le gspca …
regarde bien ton id vendor, et ton id produit, et tu va voir que la ligne qui te concerne n’est pas celle du gspca, mais celle du :

Autrement dit, passe par le paguet module-assistant (qui va effectivement te demander de peut-être installer d’autre paquets nécessaire à la compilation des modules), et fait comme on disais, ça devrait se passer sans problème, aprés, c’est clair, reste le souci de la faire fonctionner, mais là, ici, il y a plusieurs fils concernant les logitech sont beaucoup dont résolus je pense … bon courage…

au passage, concernant amsn, ayant eu des soucis épisodiques avec les taux de transfert de fichier, je signale une solution sympa pour ceux qui se trainent encore avec un 0.95 en etch ou sid ( si vous êtes sous free86 vous aurez encore moins de souci j’ai cru comprendre pendant mon installation), c’est par là :

En tout cas, la version sous Sarge (0.94-1) n’a pas l’air d’offrir la vidéoconférence ou alors j’ai loupé l’option…

moi aussi j ai un probleme avec ma web cam , j ai lu tous ce qui est ecrit ici et j ai installer qc-usb dans application sous gnome j ai bien visionneur de webcam camorama , par contre en ouvrant cette application j ai une erreure Could no connect to video device (dev/video0). please check connection. voila si je peut profiter de cette endroit pour resoudre mon probleme de web cam en plus de celui de shinys vue que lon a presque la meme merci :smiley:
