Mes sources.list et preferences sont ils bien configurés?

Bonjour à tous,

Je pose cette question car depuis que j’ai reinstallé ma ETCH, je trouve que le volume de mises à jour à chaque apt-get upgrade est plus que léger. Une fois tzdata et une autre fois un autre dont je ne me rappelle plus.
la plupart du temps j’obtiens ceci:

debian:~# apt-get upgrade Lecture des listes de paquets... Fait Construction de l'arbre des dépendances... Fait 0 mis à jour, 0 nouvellement installés, 0 à enlever et 0 non mis à jour.

J’ai fait également un dist-upgrade et il me dit la même chose. Pourtant mon iso est celui de etch r1 donc je devrais au minimum avoir des mises à jour pour la r2 non?

si tu as installé ta etch à partir d’un cd récemment téléchargé, c’est normal. Les serveurs sont régulierement mis à jour.
As-tu quand même bien fait un aptitude update avant le upgrade?

ben c’est déjà le sien!!!
concernant les 2 lignes dont tu parles elles sont présentes lors d’un apt-get upgrade.
La sortie que j’ai postée est celle de apt-get update.

J’ai fait des tests en desactivant le fichier preferences, et j’obtiens bien tout un tas de mise à jour. dist-upgrade fonctionne également.
apt-cache policy me donne bien les priorités définies dans preferences.

En etch, les mises a jour sont quasi-inexistantes. C’est donc normal que tu n’aies rien à upgrader.
Les rares mises à jour de etch concernent des mises à jours de sécurité.

je ne veux pas paraitre insistant mais auparavant j’avais plus de mises à jour.
Qui plus est le fait que je puisse taper dans les paquets des différentes branches de debian, ne devrait il pas me proposer plus de mises à jour?
Meme si la priorité est sur Etch?

Une précaution tout de même, parceque le problême m’est tombé dessus: il ne faut pas simplement copier/coller le contenu du fichier preferences, parceque ça ajoute des espaces au début de chaque ligne qu’il faut imperativement supprimer, car apt n’aime pas du tout.

oui j’ai verifié les espaces en début de ligne et il n y en pas.
je vais donc me rattacher à l’explication sur le faible volume de mises à jour même si sur mon ancienne install c’etait plus fréquent.

dernière question pour passer en lenny ou en sid il suffit de faire en sorte que le apt-pinning prioritise l’une ou l’autre des branches c’est ca?

Tu te croyais peut-être en Etch alors que tu ne l’étais pas.

Pour vérifier que tu es effectivement avec une vraie etch :

Je suis en Sid donc j’ai la version sid d’installée.
En etch tu devrais avoir la 2.3.6.ds1-13etch5
