Montage clé USB impossible

Bonjour,

Depuis hier, ma clé USB n’apparaît plus sur mon poste de travail. Je n’arrive plus à la monter. Elle fait 16 Gigas, en FAT32, et s’allume brièvement lorsque je la branche.

Je suis sous debian testing/sid et uname-a me donne « Linux Home 2.6.32-5-686 #1 SMP Wed Aug 25 14:28:12 UTC 2010 i686 GNU/Linux
» pour un eeepc 1005P.

Voila, voila… Aucune idée de si j’arriverai à récupérer cette clé en sachant que sous Windows, il ne la trouve pas non plus…

Idem sur d’autres machines ?

Oui. J’ai tenté sous windows XP (sur un portable dell), sous debian lenny ( toujours portable dell), sur le mien en testing/sid, sur une tour AMD64 qui tourne sous ubuntu ( je ne sais plus lequel, il doit avoir plus d’un an).

Toujours éclairage temporaire puis rien…

Je ne me fais pas trop d’illusion, mes données dessus sont sans doute perdues. Mais j’aurais voulu au moins pouvoir reformater la clé et la réutiliser. Cependant, n’arrivant pas à la “voir”, même ça, ça me semble difficile.

Donc, Debian n’est pas en cause, c’est ta clef qui est, soit morte, soit défectueuse.
je n’ai pas d’idées, désolé.

fsck.vfat peut peut-être réparer les partoches endommagées… sinon chkdsk sous windo* (si la clé n’est pas montée, il faut aller dans la gestion des disques et demander la vérification à partir de cette appli…)

(sinon tu peux la repartitionner… fdisk la voit… :wink: … mais bon… clé de 16 giga c’est extrêmement fragile ces bestioles… j’en ai déjà tué une… :confused: )

En fait, fdisk ne semble pas la voir. Il voit plutôt des partitions en FAT32 qui semblent correspondre à une copie de sauvegarde de windows 7 ( je suis en dual boot).

J’ai regardé sous windows ou sous linux mais en fait, je peux voir le nom de la clé mais l’OS est incapable de me dire sa capacité et considère qu’il n’y a aucun média…

À mon avis, tu peux commencer à creuser un trou pour ta clé… ou la rapporter si elle est encore sous garantie… (comme je t’ai dit, les 16 giga (en fait au delà de 8 giga) sont des clés très fragiles, beaucoup “claquent” sans raison… en tout cas, c’est ce qui c’est produit avec une des miennes et c’est ce que j’ai souvent entendu dire…)
