Ndiswrapper

Bonjour à tous.

Je suis actuellement sous debian 4.0r6 et j’ai installer à l’aide de ndiswrapper ma carte wifi.

Ca fonctionnait bien jusqu’au jour où j’ai voulu utiliser cet ordinateur comme passerelle.

Dès qu’un ordinateur est connecté dessus, j’ai le droit à des Kernel oops!

Y-a-t-il un moyen de contrer de le problème??

ça serait pas, plus simplement, un soucis de “routage” puisque que tu veux utiliser le pc comme passerelle ? … à confirmer

A croire que non puisque le routage ( plutôt du NAT ) fonctionne bien pendant environ 5 min, puis un Kernel oops apparait sur l’écran de la passerelle!! (ou alors il freeze).

EDIT : C’est quoi la différence entre un kernel oops et un kernel panic??

kernel oops est un plantage du noyau qui peut se rattraper. Un segfault, une exception, etc. Tu as les renseignements donnés dans les logs.
un kernel panic est une situation ou le noyau ne peut plus continuer (plus assez de mémoire, plus d’accès à la racine, etc).
Dans ta situation et vus les conseils que tu as donnés, je te suggère d’utiliser le driver ndiswrapper et non wext dans wpa_supplicant, ton souci vient peut être de là.

Hum, pas d’explications, peut être en prenant la version de lenny pour les 2. Lorsque j’avais eu ce souci avec une carte DWL650+, j’avais été ammené à recompiler ndiswrapper et wpa_supplicant pour qu’ils dialoguent bien entre eux (le -D wext n’avait jamais marché), et ça avait résolu le pbm.
