il y a sûrement plusieurs façons de faire ; moi j’ai choisi d’installer Parsix basé sur Wheezy livré avec gnome 3.8 et tous les logiciels a jour 8)

Parsix n’est pas plutot basé sur debian testing?

Sinon pour répondre à la question initiale gnome 3.8 est en grande parti dans les dépots testing et sid bien qu’il manque toujours la brique principale : gnome-shell 3.8 qui est toujours dans le dépot experimental.

Donc si tu veux gnome-shell 3.8 immédiatement tu peux l’installer a tes risques et péril sur ta Debian testing ou sid à partir du dépot experimental ou bien utiliser une autre distribution qui le propose…la proposition de Misaine semble être un bon compromis.

on pourrait croire que c’est pour bientôt dans Sid en regardant 0d.be/debian/debian-gnome-3.8-status.html (notamment gdm qui vient d’être complété dans experimental), mais :
