Je fais partie depuis environs deux mois du monde du libre, je suis sous Ubuntu Feisty Fawn, j’ai pris cette distrib’ car la communauté est assez conviviale (même si il y a des boulets partout
), c’est sécurisé, libre et gratuit.
Sur la documentation de Debian je n’est pas tout compris… Debian est gratuit mais pas le CD? (je ne veux pas le graver)
N’y a t’il aucun moyen de commander un CD de la dernière version de Debian gratuitement, car même si ce n’est pas cher si Debian ne me plaie pas… Je l’aurais eu dans le … Comme sur Ubuntu quoi.
J’ai vu qu’on pouvait l’installer à partir du net, et finir d’installer les paquets une fois Debian installer, c’est-à-dire?
Debian est-il plus sécurisé, simple, “plug&play” qu’Ubuntu (celui-ci n’est pas indispensable…). Est-il libre?
J’aimerais aussi savoir si mon système est compatible, j’ai donc pris soin de vous fournir ces informations :

! Si il manque des infos dite le, pour internet je suis relié à mon modem via un câble Ethernet donc normalement pas de soucis, non?
Désolé de poser ces quelques questions mais je comprend rarement les documentations, j’aime parler et apprendre d’un être humain (même derrière son écran), réagir et débattre

En gros, ma question principale est, selon vous, qu’est-ce qui est mieux? Debian ou Ubuntu, si vous êtes fan d’une distrib’ ce n’est pas la peine de faire de la propagande, moi j’aimerais avoir des avis concret

Je vais te révéler quelque chose: je pense que les développeurs Debian se moquent complètement de savoir si tu vas installer Debian ou non. Graver un CD, te l’envoyer n’est pas gratuit et personnne ne paiera pour que tu installes une Debian. La réponse est non!. Mais demandes autour de toi, il y a certainement des «Install parties» ou des associations avec des gens qui te prêteront voire te donneront un CD Debian. Dans ce cas, rappelle toi dans un an ou deux que ça ne doit pas être un sens unique. Rappel toi enfin que le libre est gratuit si on supplée le fait de ne pas payer par un engagement et un investissement personnel.
