Problème au démarrage (souci de partition)

Hello,

J’ai eu un souci avec mon install de Debian (Buster). Je pense dû à un problème lié au pilote graphique Nvidia qui a mis la grouille. J’ai du me rendre à l’évidence, n’ayant pas pu résoudre le problème malgré les essais, à réinstaller mon linux.

Pour décrire un peu mon partitionnement:

/dev/sda (disque SSD de 256Go)
   /dev/sda1 monté sur /
/dev/sdb (disque HDD de 3To)
   /dev/sdb1 (100Go) monté sur /home
   /dev/sdb2 (100Go) monté sur /usr
   /dev/sdb3 (50Go) monté sur /var
   /dev/sdb4 (5Go) Swap
   /dev/sdb5 (5Go) EFI
   /dev/sdb6(2,5To) monté sur /Donnees (qui contient du stockage)

Suite à la réinstallation, au début du boot, j’avais un message

fsckd-cancel-msg press ctrl+c to cancel all filesystem checks in progress

Le boot continuait. Puis écran noir et le message fsckd revenait et l’ordi bloque là.

J’ai essayé de changer de console pour consulter les logs et en revenant sur la première console, plouf démarrage de l’interface graphique. Rien de spécial dans les logs pourtant.

J’ai tout essayé, un fsck manuel sur toutes les partition, un tune2fs pour désactivé le check. Même constat.

J’ai fini par faire une install en montant un point à chaque fois. Cela m’a permis de remonter jusqu’à la partition qui pose problème:

/dev/sdb2 monté sur /usr

si je laisse /usr sur le SSD ça fonctionne (oui c’est discutable ce partitionnement. J’ai du vouloir mettre le moins de chose sur le SSD pour la durée de vie)

Alors j’ai tenté un fsck au niveau des bloc, supprimer la partition et la recréer, utiliser l’option au moment de l’installation pour réécrire sur la partition, mais même topo.

à 15h16 fin du boot et blocage. Puis j’ai laissé le poste jusqu’a 17h36. On voit le changement de terminal et le démarrage de GDM au moment de revenir sur le terminal 1.

bref, je ne sais plus quoi faire avec cette partition. Au pire la perdre et refaire une install avec le /usr sur le SSD. C’est quand même triste de perdre 100Go… (bon je vais pas pleurer non plus).

Je suis preneur de vos idées. Je suis arrivé au bout des miennes.

Toujours avec le même fichier image ISO ?

Lance la ligne de commande suivante,
avec les privilèges du compte root :

sed  -i.sauv  's/^#WaylandEnable=false/WaylandEnable=false/'  /etc/gdm3/custom.conf

et redémarre ta machine.

Je me suis tiré les cheveux dans tous les sens. J’ai refais une install en montant la partition qui pose souci sur /usr/local. Et pour l’instant tout est revenu ok

En regardant, je me dis que /usr sur le SSD ça devrait pas réduire la durée de vie du SSD de façon incroyable.
Je pense que les commandes que tu m’as indiqué c’est dans la config qui ne fonctionne pas? J’avoue que refaire une install ne m’emballe pas. J’ai du en enchainer une vingtaine.

Je pense partir sur cette config. C’est un peu galère de pas savoir ce qui a pu se passer mais bon…

Oui, mais on pouvait aussi obtenir les retour de ces commandes depuis un autre système (démarré en Live par exemple)

Je trouve que c’est dommage d’avoir un SSD et ne pas s’en servir.
De toutes façons, un disque dur ou SSD n’est jamais éternel.
