Une mise à jour a mal fonctionné alors qu’il n’y avait pas de recommandations particulières.
C’est encore les drivers d’ATI. J’ai donc tenté une réinstallation complète mais :

En Anglais car j’ai dû chrooter ma Debian.
Il me dit de conserver le paquet actuel mais il n’est pas installé !

un petit “aticonfig --initial” afin de générer votre xorg.conf et le tour est joué 
car effectivement tes snapshot sinon quoi on fais un bond dans l’avenir
