Problème timeout lecteur cd

J’ai un asus A9RP qui a moins d’un an (et le modèle doit pas être beaucoup plus vieux chez asus), et j’ai un problème similaire sous Debian et Ubuntu : le pc d’un coup et sans raison particulière se met à bloquer totalement pendant quelques secondes et ça en boucle, en laissant une fraction de seconde de fonctionnement entre chaque blocage.

En regardant les logs je suis tombé sur ça :

Ce blocage n’apparaissait plus pendant une période où j’ai désactiver le lecteur DVD dans le BIOS. Depuis j’ai fait changer ce lecteur grâce à la garantie, mais le problème est toujours là.

Quelqu’un aurait une idée de ce qui se passe ? Ou d’où ça provient ?

Le problème continue toujours avec la même chose dans les logs. Le même texte apparaît dans plusieurs fichiers, je ne sais pas lequel regarder pour chercher la cause. Mais dans chaque fichier, il ne se passe rien “juste” avant le problème.
Quelqu’un pourrait me dire où chercher ce qui concerne le bus IDE ?

Mais si ça n’est pas le lecteur ni l’OS, c’est peut être la nappe.
Sinon, tu as un 2.6.18 sous la main ? Est ce que le pb apparait en 2.6.18 ?

En effet le problème laisse un log strictement identique. Par contre pour moi ça ne se passe pas au boot, ça arrive au bout d’un temps variable (linux peut tourner 1-2 jours comme 10min) et le pc devient inutilisable car la quasi totalité de la CPU est utilisée par ce timeout.

En attendant est-ce qu’il y a moyen de désactiver le lecteur DVD sous linux ? car quand je l’avais désactivé sous BIOS plus de problème, mais j’en ai besoin sous windows.

peut être en créant un fichier /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.local, avec juste une liste:

blacklist cdrompour blacklister le module.

Le lecteur est toujours actif, j’ai essayé de remplacer “cdrom” par “hdb” mais ça ne marche pas quand même.

Bon, sinon, moi aussi j’ai un graveur DVD TSTCorp qui me fout la zouille sur mon acer. En fait, quand il en arrive au “reset ide”, ça bloque complètement certains processus sur la machine et je dois attendre des minutes entières que ça reparte. Le mieux que j’ai obtenu, c’est depuis que je suis passé en 2.6.23: je n’ai plus remarqué de bloquage (mais je n’ai pas regardé les logs pour voir si le problême sur le lecteur lui même avait disparu).
Pas d’autre idée.

Depuis quelques mises à jour d’Ubuntu, il est arrivé que le blocage ne dure que quelques secondes et ensuite s’arrête de lui même. Mais Hier encore j’ai eu un blocage qui a nécessité un reboot.

Problème non résolu donc, mais je vois pas quoi faire.
