Probleme wicd kde4

bonjour

j’ai installer wicd pour le wifi sous eeepc701 debian-sid kde4

j’ai droit a un :

could not connect to wicd's D-Bus interface

il me dit de regarder dans le fichier wicd.log mais celui ci n’existe pas … :frowning:

n’arrivant pas a se connecter j’ai ete sur le site de wicd j’ai finalement installer en backport le wicd 1.5

la fenetre s’ouvre mais il ne vois pas de connexions wifi alors que cela pullules…

pour le moment je suis connecter via l’eeepc en ethernet

pourquoi tu ne vas pas directement éditer les fichier /etc/network/interfaces et /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf (si tu es en WPA) directement à la main ? C’est tout aussi rapide que passer par un client comme wicd

j’ai editer le /etc/network/interfaces apparement il est tout a faire ok
par contre je n’ai pas de fichier : /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf
faut-il le créer soi meme ???

Pour mon wifi je me suis basé sur l’excellent tuto d’Ashgenesis, sur son site (http://ashgenesis.debian-fr.net/tutorial/wifi/)… pour lequel j’obtiens un beau 404… je te mets donc la partie utile.
Nota : je n’ai pas de fichier /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf (ni /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf.)… et tout baigne !

Nous avons maintenant le nécessaire pour remplir le fichier /etc/network/interfaces.

Voici maintenant 2 types de
configuration, la première utilise le serveur dhcp pour les adresses alors que la deuxième a été définie completèment.

Utilisez celle dont vous avez besoin en la modifiant si nécessaire.

Config avec le serveur DHCP

j’ai suivi le tuto dans truc et astuce de l’install debian sid eeepc je pige pas ce qui se passe

EDIT 2 : installer linux-image 2.6.26.2 + madwifi correspondant = wifiradar voit enfin les spot dispo mais pas tres puissant je trouve , il cherche a se connecter mais ca tourne en rond

donc : 2.6.29 marche pas (pour eeepc 701)(no wifi & filaire) et pour le 2.6.30 juste le filaire evidement

si vous avez des infos concernant les madwifi compatible 2.6.30 je veux bien ^^

Plus besoin de madwifi pour les noyaux recents. Madwifi n’est plus mis à jour.

C’est ath5k qu’il te faut, en virant bien tout madwifi sinon ca rentre en conflit.

j’ai passer le weekend a compiler le driver ath5k (4h50sur l’eeepc hihi)
virer les madwifi , je vois a present les spots dispo via wifiradar MAIS!! ^^
a la connection ca tourn" sans arriver a se connecter , il bloque sur aquisition de l’adresse IP

Edit final : j’ai bien fais comme le tuto plus haut mais rien , j’en ai un peu marre , j’ai resintaller backtrack sur mon eeepc
