Ralink 3290

Bonjour,
J’ai déjà posté sur le forum d’ Ubuntu, mais je n’ ai pas eu de réponse.
J’ ai un nouveau Compaqu CQ58, avec une carte wifi ralink 3290. Cette carte n’ est pas reconnue avec ma vesion d’ Ubuntu 12.04 en 64 bits, ce qui semble etre normal, ce qui l’ est moins, c’ est que tout le monde arrive à la faire fonctionner, sauf moi.
Différents tutos existent, aucun ne fonctionne chez moi, et ce n’ est pas faute d’ avoir essayé. Je crois les avoir tous testé.
Celui là par exemple un lien est mort, je ne peux rien en tirer.
Celui là me fait apparaitre ma carte wifi, mes réseaux avec iwconfig, ces derniers n’ apparaissent pas dans network-manager, que dans wicd, mais si je me connecte en wifi à ma box, le plantage est assuré. Dans ces cas là, j’ ai ce message à répétition dans mon syslog :

J’ai fait et refait ces tutos, réinstallé plusieurs fois Ubuntu pour repartir sur des bases saines, installé le kernel 3.8 qui ne résoud rien et pose d’ autres problèmes…

Il y a un message sur le le launchpad que je ne saisi pas, apparament le problème est reglé : bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour … omments/57

Je ne comprends vraiment pas pourquoi cela ne fonctionne pas.

Bonjour,
Le problème a été corrigé avec la version 13.04 que je viens d’ installer, et apparament sur la version Lts que je souhaitais mettre à l’ origine. Donc on peut dire que mon problème est reglé. J’ ai testé une Wheezy, j’ ai le même souci. Je vais attendre un peu et retenter une installation, j’ ouvrirai un post au cas ou.

Sinon pour wheezy tu peux essayer le paquet firmware-ralink du dépot expérimental

Salut, Merci pour ta réponse.
Je vais faire des essais avec Wheezy, faut que je le réinstalle. J’ ouvirai des posts au fur et à mesure, l’ installation de Linux sur mon portable n’ est pas gagnée. Pour le moment, seul raring semble fonctionner, mais encore des problèmes, avec le wifi, que l’ on ne peut stopper et le bluetooth non fonctionnel.
Avec wheezy, le retroeclairage est toujours au maximum. J’ ai le même problème avec Ubuntu, mais en modifiant /etc/defaut/grub, c’ est reglé, mais la modification n’ est pas fonctionnel sous wheezy (je n’ ai pas encore par contre cherché plus loin) .

Je crois surtout que ce Compaq CQ58 est un portable à éviter si on veut installer Linux.

Bonjour,
Peut etre une bonne nouvelle, et la possiblité de réinstaller Linux sur mon portable. Petit rappel : un bug empêche le bon fonctionnement de ma carte ralink rt3290. Une solution semble avoir été trouvée ici.
Seulement je ne vois pas comment l’ installer… Le driver avec dkms ok, je devrais pouvoir y arriver, mais ce patch, que dois je en faire ?

Et la bonne nouvelle, c’ est que depuis 10 minutes, après plus de 7 mois de galère, le wifi et le bluetooth fonctionnent sur ma machine ! Seul le bouton du wifi est inactif, le mode avion ne fonctionne pas, mais c’ est contournable.
