Reseau Filaire

Bonjour, sous debian - xfce, j’utilise wicd.

Déjà au départ il me disait que wlan0 était un réseau filaire (wicd me disait ça), je l’ai bien entendu modifier.

Mais cependant lorsque je connecte un câble réseau, il ne me le détecte pas !

Je précise que j’ai fait l’installation de debian en netinstall par wifi (donc wlan0), et que un ifconfig me dit que wlan0 est un ethernet.

hum supprime le contenu de /etc/network/interfaces

pour etre sur que ce soit le manager reseau qui gere ta connection

Déjà fait il n’y a que auto lo

tu a bien les extentions wifi d’installé

essaye un aptitude install wireless-tools

Mon probleme n’est pas la wifi, elle fonctionne très bien, mais le cable ethernet qui n’est pas détecte

Regarde les preferences de wicd.


L’affichage des interfaces en la fenêtre principale de wicd dépend de ce que l’utilisateur a renseigné face à la définition des interfaces “wireless”(sans-fil) et “wired” (cable).
wired->eth*
wireless->wlan*

Pour obtenir les numéros de wlan* et eth* voir au jour de la commande :

$ /sbin/ifconfig -a

“always show wired interface” , toujours afficher eth*.

Mon ifconfig ne me donne aucun eth*

Ta carte réseau n’est peut être tout simplement pas active car il lui manque un firmware pour fonctionner.
Que dit la commande lspci ?

S’il te plait, copie nous le retour de la commande

ifconfig -a

Si tu avais pris la peine de copier le retour intégral de la commande # ifconfig -a en pointant l’absence d’eth*, nous aurions compris la question un peu plus rapidement…

Le problème se situerait à hauteur du matériel ou du noyau, en amont de wicd et en amont d’ifconfig.

S’il s’agit d’une carte PCI, vérifier la pose de la carte sur la carte mère.
Vérifier que la carte ne soit pas désactivée par le BIOS.
Voir si la carte apparaît sous la commande
$ lspci

Lorsque la carte apparaît sous lspci, voir si un module du noyau la gére
$ lspci -v

Je precise que je peux voir l’interface filaire mais pas me connecter dessus. Il me fait done connecting puis déconnecté.
