[Résolu] Problème install wifi atheros sur testing

Bonjour,

j’ai reçu y’a pas longtemps un asus m51tr que j’ai mis sous debian testing. Tout est ok (c’est relatif…) sauf entre autre le wifi. J’ai suisvi ces 2 fils ici et ici mais impossible d’arriver à quoique ce soit. Je suis bien arrivé à installer (a prioris) madwifi,en tout cas tout à l’air de bien se passer:

aptitude update
aptitude install module-assistant
m-a prepare
m-a a-i madwifi
modprobe ath_pci

J’ai également testé avec pci=bios au démarrage mais rien n’y fait.

Bonsoir,

j’ai commencé par installer la version debian à la freestyle, mais au bout du compte, j’ai fini par l’installer avec la méthode kna sur ce post avec les explications données…

Je pense pas en etre loin mais ça me gonfle de pas y arriver…

Vérifies la présence de ces modules et regardes dans dmesg si il y a une erreur au chargement…

Bon bah j’ai trouvé :mrgreen: :mrgreen: .

Après avoir cherché toute l’après-midi, je suis tombé sur ce post qui est à la base fait pour ubuntu. J’ai donc téléchargé ce fichier, puis executé (sh) et enfin installé (dpkg --install). On rajoute ath9k à la fin du fichier /etc/modules, on reboot, et le tour est joué :laughing: . Me demandez pas pourquoi ni comment mais ça marche.

Edit: bon je suis pas vraiment sur sur du truc. Avec aircrack-ng je peux voir quel chipset et quel driver j’utilise. Normalement je devrais avoir un truc comme:

Bon bah en fait c’était du bluff :cry:

Impossible de se connecter en wifi. Par contre j’arrive bien à voir tous les réseaux disponibles et à faire de l’audit avec airmon mais ensuite…

Si quelqu’un à une idée je suis preneur.
Sinon est-il possible que ma carte wifi ne soit pas prise en charge…?

J’utilise wicd en me connectant avec ma freebox. Suivant le “Pilote WPA Supplicant” j’arrive à différentes choses: soit il n’arrive tout simplement pas à se connecter, soit c’est interminable soit j’arrive à me connecter (cas "ralink legacy :question: ) mais il me dit que j’ai une puissance nulle et donc n’accède pas au net. Penses-tu que la méthode que j’ai utilisée soit bonne ou peut-être est-ce du à la version 64 que j’utilise ou…?

Edit: je viens de regarder pour charger des modules (modprobe) et dans la liste des choix pour ath je n’ai que:

ath5k              ath_pci            ath_rate_minstrel  ath_rate_sample    
ath_hal            ath_rate_amrr      ath_rate_onoe

mais aucune trace des ath9k (je précise que j’ai désinstallé le paquet fabriqué à l’aide de la méthode précédente et réinstallé madwifi à l’aide de module-assistant).

Edit2: je viens de voir qu’apparement ma carte Atheros AR9280 ne serait compatible qu’à partir du noyau 2.6.28 or j’en suis qu’au 2.6.26. Ca pourrait venir de là ?

ath5k est le premier module atheros, assez primaire, les autres viennent de madwifi. Pourquoi as tu viré ath9k?

Bah d’une ça ne fonctionnait qu’en partie et puis l’impression d’avoir installé un truc bâtard prévu à l’origine pour ubuntu et installé sur une debian. Et puis le fait que ça m’affiche des trucs bizarre sous airmon. Mais je peux toujours le réinstaller, mon paquet est toujours là au cas ou… Veux-tu que je le réinstalle ?

bon après avoir bien galérer, j’ai réussi à installer les drivers ath9k sous ma debian. Mais je n’arrive toujours pas (comme la dernière fois) à me connecter. Voilà le résultat des différentes commandes:

Bon, je suis enfin arrivé à mes fins en compilant le kernel 2.6.27.7 avec les drivers ath9k en modules :mrgreen: :mrgreen: . Voilà, après 2 semaines de galères, je suis enfin libre 8).

Malheureusement pour moi j’ai encore quelques petits soucis de configurations sans rapport avec le wifi donc celles-ci feront l’objet d’un prochain post.

j’ai le meme probleme que tu as eu mais avec un studio xps.
enfin j’ai exactement la meme carte que toi.

donc tu dis qu’il suffit que je passe a un noyau >= 2.6.27 et que fasse un modprobe ath9k (qui est si j’ai compris, de base dans ce noyau) et ca va marcher.
c’est ca ?
