J’ai bien cherché tte la journée mais en vain donc, la queue entre les jambes, je viens demandé de l’aide, siouplé.
Ça se présente comme suit :
une machine serveur sur P4
une machine client sur P3
P4 avec une Debian Sid fonctionne parfaitement en liaison avec le P3(Etch)
P4 avec une Debian Etch ne fonctionne pas avec le m^ P3(Etch)
Je ne sais plus où chercher car j’ai exactement les m^ fichiers en ce qui concerne
le parefeu
/etc/network/interfaces
les interfaces sont reconnues sur les deux machines
le switch est bien allumé au niveau des diodes
Ds /etc/sysctl.conf,
net.ipv4.conf.default.forwarding=1
est bien décommenté
J’ai certainement oublié de charger ou de modifier qq chose mais je donne ma langue au chat (m^ s’il est petit et noir 
)
J’ai repris tt le fil qui m’a servi à installer mon premier réseau mais sans succès.

Que donne ifconfig sur le P4 quand ça ne marche pas?
Que donne route -n sur le P4 quand ça ne marche pas?
Y-a-t-i un message dans dmesg sur le P4 quand ça ne marche pas?
différence avec le cas où ça marche…
Ping à partir du P4 (ttes les diodes du switch et des cartes sont allumées donc liaison électrique OK)
(192.168.3.199, étant l’adresse LAN du P3 reconnue par ifconfig quand la liaison est OK, ce qui n’est pas le cas présent)
(bien sûr, m^ réponse du P3 vers le P4 : “unreachable”)

Bon, je présume que c’est la ligne eth0 qui n’y est pas quand ça ne marche pas.

- Vérification: Tu te mets dans la situation où ça ne marche pas et tu fais coté P3
ifconfig eth0 192.168.3.199 up
là les pings devraient marcher.
- Si c’est le cas, tu vas sur P4 et tu fais
/etc/init.d/dhcp start
et tu vois ce qui coince.

Attends, ça n’est pas possible. C’est bien P4 qui a Etch et Sid, P3 est tout le temps le même et ne dépend pas de la configuration de P4. Donc je résume:
P4 SID / P3 OK, P3=192.168.3.199
P4 ETCH / P3 pas bon
Donc fais la chose suivante:
Tu mets P4 en SID et lance P3 et tu fais un ping sur P4 en permanence, ça marche tu laisses pinguer.
Tu redémarre P4 en Etch.
- Les pings reprennent: C’est ton serveur DHCP qui ne marche pas
- Les pings ne reprennent pas, le réseau de P4 n’est pas bon.
(j’espère que tu n’as pas d’iptables rejettant les pings sur P4)

Les pings reprennent et je peux me connecter sur le Net (je tape actuellement du P3 avec le P4 sur Etch)
C’est donc le serveur dhcp qui merde mais de quel côté ?
P4 etch, je suppose car P3, lui ne change pas.
J’attends le médicament pour le soigner mais il est trop tard pour ce soir car tu dois être couché
A memain donc de te lire pour savoir comment réparer ce serveur dhcp.

Déjà, tu peux retrouver tes logs de dhcp sur ton p4 (log autonome, ou traces dans syslog, daemon.log ou dans messages).
Tu peux aussi dire dans le dhcpd.conf (ou dans /etc/default/dhcpdpeut être) que tu veux qu’il démarre en mode verbeux, pour avoir plus d’infos dans les logs.

Je te suggère de faire
/etc/init.d/dhcp start
et de voir ce qui se passe.

J’ai retrouvé qq chose qui doit donner la réponse :
/etc/dhcp3/dhcpd.conf du P4 sid qui_va_bien, il y a 6 lignes que j’avais ajoutées sur le conseil d’un de vs deux en suivant un article di site “coagul”.
J’ai comparé avec le m^ fixchier du P4 etch qui_déconne :
cet ajout n’y est pas.
Il me faut donc trouver
option domain-name"ricardodomaine.com"

option routers (ça je pense que c’est tjrs le m^= 192.168.3.1)
default-lease-time (3600, je pense que ça ne change pas)

est-ce que je conserve les m^ options du domain-name-servers ?
domainname est un peu comme tu veux, tu peux le trouvé dans
/etc/hosts (à la fin du nom de tes machines),
met ce que tu veux, ça n’a pas d’importance.
Dans nameserver, met les DNS déclarés dans /etc/resolv.conf de P4
J’en suis au m^ point :
j’ai ajouté les m^ données, qui dvraient aller bien mais rien n’y fait.

Non, le ipv6 on s’en moque mais celle d’avant indique que eth0 est up et que tout va bien.
