[RESOLU] Sid + freebox + wifi = déconnexions ! Help

Bonjour,

Ma carte wifi utilise le driver rtl8187 intégré au noyau (en ce moment 2.6.28).
Ndiswrapper n’a jamais fonctionné, seul le driver “out of the box” marche.
Je me connecte en wifi à l’aide de wicd.

Tout va bien pendant 15-20 ou 30 minutes, puis plus d’internet, plus de messagerie, plus de mldonkey (pour partager mes vidéos de vacances), plus rien.

ping undomaine.com --> walou.
ping 192.168.1.254 (ma box) --> network unreachable.

Pourtant wicd me dit “connecté à (mon point d’accès) 59%” par exemple. Même si je suis à côté de la box, à 95% ça ne change rien.

Une amie a les mêmes problèmes chez moi avec Vista, donc je dirais bien: cémabox.

Mais quand je redémarre mon PC tout remarche, jusqu’à la prochaine déco.
Qu’est-ce qui se réinitialise dans la séquence de boot, qui fait que ça remarche ?

Si tu tapes la commande dmesg (une fois déconnecté), ça donne quoi?

Il faut peut-être (sûrement) activer le support ipv6 depuis la page de configuration freebox.

Merci, je suis au boulot, mais ce soir je poste mon dmesg.
Le support ipv6 j’y ai pensé mais je n’y connais rien, ça donnera quoi ?

Ce que ça donnera je peux pas te le dire, ce que je sais en revanche c’est que j’ai eu le même problème et qu’un dmesg m’indiquait un truc comme quoi il n’y avait pas de support ipv6 donc ça coupait (carte Wifi iwl3945 d’Intel), et hop j’ai activé ce qu’il fallait puis plus de déconnexions…

Ah j’ai vu un truc comme ça dans dmesg, je n’y avais pas fait attention. Je vais tester, merci.

Bon, j’ai activé le support ipv6 de la box. Je n’ai plus de “no ipv6 present” mais ça ne change rien, toujours déconnecté au bout d’un 1/4 d’heure environ (parfois 1/2 heure, parfois 5mn).

Bon ce n’est pas exactement pour le 3945, mais la procédure doit fonctionner avec ce dernier.

Personnellement, j’ai viré wicd et configuré ma carte wifi à la mano dans ce bon vieux fichier /etc/network/interfaces, plus de soucis depuis.

J’avais des déconnexions également.

Merci, résolu grâce à ton lien, enfin contourné plutôt mais ça va.
Je m’en suis inspiré pour faire un script de reconnexion, plus sommaire mais qui convient. Du coup j’ai parfois des déconnexions de quelques secondes, je ne m’en aperçois pratiquement pas. J’ai mis mon script dans la crontab de root toutes les minutes. Même principe, on décharge puis on recharge le driver. Pendant ce temps le démon wicd continue de tourner, pas de souci.

Résolu pour de vrai !
J’avais des soucis pour compiler ndiswrapper-module, c’est pour ça que j’utilisais le driver rtl8187 du noyau. Erreur fatale !
J’ai pris un kernel 2.6.28 avec tous les accessoires, headers, ndiswrapper-module correspondant etc… chez Sidux.
Avec un ndiswrapper en pleine forme.
Bien sûr j’ai blacklisté rtl8187 au démarrage.
Un petit ndisgtk pour installer le driver XP de ma carte wifi, c’est presque trop facile.
A noter que chez moi, c’est le driver XP-ME qui marche, alors qu’on conseille plutôt le Win98.

J’ai donc une Debian avec un noyau Sidux.
Résultat: une wifi qui tourne aussi bien qu’en ethernet !
