Je viens d’installer la debian sur mon ordi, et je suis confronté à un problème de résolution d’écran, j’ai auparavant fait une recherche sur le forum, mais tout ce que j’ai tenté ne fonctionne pas.
J’ai édité mon fichier XF86Config-4 en ajoutant 1024x768 et 1280x1024, mais lorsque j’ai redémarré ma session, 1024x768 apparait 2 fois dans les choix de résolutions, et lorsque je sélectionne l’un des 2, ce n’est pas la résolution qui change, mais comment dire, la taille de l’écran, c’est à dire comme s’il y avait un scroll invisible, en mettant le curseur de ma souris sur le bord de mon écran je le déplace.

N’étant pas très calé en linux,je demande votre aide.
J’aurais ensuite une autre question, la version de firefox à l’install est de 1.0.x donc une version obsolète, j’ai installé la dernière version, comment faire pour remplacer celle que j’ai installé par celle qui était sur l’iso ?
